Wiggins never WON a GT, never even podium le Tour, but still he is considered to be No. 1 favourite.

Menchov on the other hand won le malliot blanc as well, he was always there, every single year since 2005 he was in Top 10 of a GT.

in fact he can still be in the top 10... but, how he can win? do you think that he can climb better than Evans or Gesink or VdB? o do you think that he will give 3 minutes to each of these guys on the TT?
Wiggins, has just to lose as less is possible in the mountains (but I'm sure he will not loose anything even there...) and then destroyed all the field on the TT...

He won yes. But we're talking 2012. Now what he won 2/3 years ago. He didnt win much last year or this and that leads others to believe he will not be good.

I agree. But I reacted to someone who said he supposedly is good in long ITT in GT's, especially in week three. You say that about someone who's never shown his ability, Menchov clearly did. That's why I said a little respect for Menchov would be welcome. That's all. Not claiming he's going to crush everyone, didn't even vote him as the winner myself. I am saving my vote until Wilco Kelderman gets included

Yep. And Frandy Scleck will lose a total of 20 minutes in TDF TT's to Wiggo, and like 15+ minutes to almost everyone else. No top-10 for him.

Those 20+ guys voting for him must be retards

And of course judging by 2010 Brajkovic is better TT-er and climber than Contador

Contador will go into next years Tour as someone who, in theory, has not podiumed the Tour since 4 years before.
