At least Bertie will have Mollema & maybe Pantano when things go uphill - he's been alone for the past couple of years. Movistar still owe Bertie for Formigal stage at Vuelta.
My bold predictions:
Froome and Porte will fight for win in last TT. Seconds will decide.
Fuglsang will top 5.

That's the general idea, yes. But things can change quickly. Maybe Nairo won't be that strong so they will switch leadership, or Bala could find himself in front of others as a part of a tactical game. If no one marks this, I'm sure his team won't hold him back.

I voted Froome.. the team, the knowledge, the spirit.. and I never guessed it wright so maybe it'll help the others..
Hoping for Contador to get to a 3rd week with a reasonable chance. Than everybody profit. Lots of "wildcards", for different reasons, that have the potential to fire up the race if "he" is there to find a way to brake sky awesome climbing controlling team. Bardet, Aru, Chavez, Fulgsang and even Movistar that rarely go for broke...

Some people say that if Froome will win he'll win so I would stick with that. Seems quite plausible. What you think Gigs98?

Not so sure he will be that tired. He was clearly not at 100% at the Giro with the Tour in mind. The gamble at the Giro didn't work but if he has judged it correctly, he could be near 100% for the Tour, he will be in the mix. Whatever, I really can't see any of the others letting him go stage hunting unless he is way down on time, which is very unlikely. But hey ho, time will tell

Yes time will tell on Quintana in the Tour but I think Tom Dumoulin pushed him much deeper at the Giro than he would have preferred. He and Movistar did after all unambiguously state they were going for the double.
Had TD not been at the Giro in such form I think the double for Quintana might still be a realistic goal today. But instead of 2 from 2 Quintana will likely end up 0 from 2 up against fresher riders like Froome, Porte, even Pinot. I am highly sceptical a Tour / Vuelta double comes close to a Giro / Tour double as Movistar's PR team would have us believe.

Now i'm more serious than last time. I have a feeling Porte will crash in one of many many flat stages in the 1st week. Contador doesn't have a chance. Bardet also is a bit lacking, he got beaten quite solidly in Dauphine (Mont du Chat + losing to Meintjes and Buchmann on Solaison). Froome for now looks more like 2014, but i guess he'll try one again for a Tour-Vuelta double, so his form should be on a rising curve. Quintana & Pinot come straight from Giro, so i also guess they won't be 100% fit?
I guess i'll go for Porte, if he won't crash. Otherwise it would be interesting to see Aru & Martin winning or being close to winning by some nicely constructed long rangers, but i don't know if they have the experience for such things. The Aru-Valverde attack didn't work well for both. Nevermind, i'm still being just silly me.
Also, after watching what happened to Aru & Valverde i'm quite worried by these useless flat 10km to Chambéry.

Nibali was extremely close to him. I think he would be forced to go as he did anyway, but with the difference of winning the pink by a couple of seconds. And if not Nibali then still there were Pinot (suddenly a sprinter) and Zakarin creeping close by.Cookster15 said:
