Yes, this thread is going to blow up if he wins on Sunday.

Rightfully so. Wiggins winning roubaix would be up there with the most obvious doped performances in cycling history.

It wouldn't even be the most obviously doped Brad Wiggins performance.

If Wigans wins P-R I will go straight to my doctor and demand to "have what he's having."

Will be tremendous fun in here next week if Wiggo somehow pulls off the win on sunday.

I kinda hope he does..

I do too. for some reason I keep hearing how I and everyone else who thinks Sky doped, should go mental and get very angry everytime Sky wins.

Its the opposite. I always want sky to win. Everytime they win (or at least the top trio who became climbing gods thanks to kerrrisons "secret training", win) more people see how ridiculous they are. Wiggins hasn't won anything in a while. He's been forgotten. I would love to hear again from all the people accross the cycling and clinic world who were quite strongly throwing doubt on his performances in 2012 when he was scoring 49 cq points per day (compared to Gilbert 2011 42), and went on an impossible 6 month peak after which he still outclimbed Vincenzo Nibali etc etc.

Him winning a 250k race for big fat flat riders, which Walsh also said was easier to dope for,a few years after dropping all the 170cm paperweights up the mountains, is going to look dodgy as ***.

And it would have the added benefit, since PR isn't in July, of not having to hear anywhere near as much insufferable quasi racist analysis about how certain nationalities are superior to others, and all the other nonesence that Ligget and co come up with.

Wiggins is a disgrace...absolute disgrace of a human being.

this always makes me laugh.
we talking about cycling or about what?
disgrace of a human being
re-read that
wtf

I sense someone has anger issues, perhaps digger should visit a shrink

For some reason I can't report the post if someone else already has, but come on mods, I don't think Del has made an actual ontopic comment in many months. All he does is walk around and post off topic insults. The above is way out of order.

What does telling someone they have anger issues and to go see a shrink have to do with cycling or doping?

Yeah just like Armstrong ;) .........bet Wigans is peed off he never got the learjet.

so evidence that wiggins is a terrible person - see what he says about lance, then what he says about landis, who he knew full well was telling the truth...he later admitted to walsh that it was 'gang mentality' that made him say such things...

but more than all that in the last week wiggins has praised ballerini, indurain, paolini, pozzato, and said it was an honour to meet museeuw...every single one of them a doper...he was involved in pantani's documentary and lauded him...why are all these dopers ok with wiggins...
the coward went on to say this in another piece: “You get asked about Floyd and you feel like you’re in a gang and you say what everyone in the gang is saying. You become part of that, because it’s easier."
yet in 2006 he said this: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/wiggins ... -for-fools

so what has changed...as wiggins has become a winner, his anti doping stance is non existent and is actually supportive of dopers...purely a coincidence of course.

yes, but those dopers didn't have a choice because everyone was doing it.
wiggins is riding in a new era where doping isn't accepted anymore. Dopers are now ostricized, and so winning clean is possible. Dopers like Lance and Museeuw weren't as lucky as Sir Brad.
i think that change in culture and mentality is best represented by a guy like Leinders. He went from blooddrugging his riders at Rabo, to making sure no-one crosses that line at Sky. We need guys like Leinders to tell the new lads how it used to be in the past.

seriously.. what a joke it will be if Wiggins wins this now. Like if de Greef won the tour or something.

It would be a joke, but still less ridiculous than Wiggins' TdF podium, in my opinion. A very good time trialist has a chance at Roubaix if they can hang on and then get a few seconds clear in the final stages. Beating climbers on HC climbs - having previously never finished in the top 100 overall - not so much.
