So, as Thomas and Porte escorted Froome to a win in the 2015 TdF and Porte in 2013 do the haters agree that without these super doms Froome would have been stuffed? Bit like 2012...

I don't think anyone will disagree with that. 2012 is a bit different because it could be argued that Froome could have/should have won the tour that year and was held back by his team. I don't think anyone can realistically say that Porte, Thomas, etc could have won the tour this year

Wiggins beat Froome fair and square as he was the superior time trialist, plus his climbing was better than everyone except Froome.

Massive circular argument there, but never mind that. He beat Froome fair and square because he finished the tour ahead of him, yes. Just debating the circumstances in which that happened, i.e. Froome wasn't allowed to go on the attack in the mountains

Wiggins posted instagrams congratulating Cavendish and Cummings on their stage wins, but missed one. You can guess the odd Brit out. He remains a nasty, bitter man.

Really? Have you met him? Do you know him well? Amazing how you,can comw to such strong negative conclusions about a person you know virtually nothing about.

The only British winner he doesn't congratulate is the one he's fallen out with because... he's a nice guy. Okay.

And you know the behind-the-scenes reasons for the fall out between Wiggo and Dawg and who's to blame how?

You're excusing petty and childish behaviour. If Wiggins behaved like a serious person he would have some manners and either congratulate all three or none. Froome at least sent a good luck tweet before Roubaix.

Wiggins is a dumb meanie. And if Froome had seriously attacked him 1-2 times in 2012 that clown would've been dropped like a stone without his pacemaker. He never deserved to win that Tour and I'm still glad Froome had the audacity to show it everyone.

Great rider, big champion. But he will always be remembered as (one of) the most laughable gt winner(s) and for being an absolute thankless pig.

If most Brits still believe he's a nice guy and like their Wiggo ... I can't help them.

Wiggins didn't beat Froom fair and square. Froome wasn't allowed to compete. This is as far away from it being a fair contest as it could possibly be.

Are you trolling?

We know how Wiggins chooses to portray himself in public. As a nasty, bitter man. Who cares whether he secretly the nicest guy ever.

Believe me, I don't like him either, but you can't be sure what's happened away from media attention.

As far as I'm concerned, he just threw a massive tantrum, and ultimately denied Froome his 2nd stage win on the day Valverde won (stage 17 I think?) along with potentially the GC - and that's after he cost Froome the 2011 Vuelta too (although that wasn't entirely down to him admittedly)

He obviously holds your opinion very highly as he's now posted a congratulatory message on Instagram, you'll now have to find something else to bleat about :)
