Wager with a bet of leaving the forum forever?

We already have an Avatar bet. No need for another. ;)

And I'm not going to enter into stupid bets like "leaving the forum".

Is it game over for Wiggins for the Giro?

He doesnt look right mentally IMO. Just doesnt seem to be in it at all.

Game over. Wouldn't be too surprised if he quits.

Has anyone mentioned to Brailsford that with Wiggins, Sky have won one GT and thrown away 2 by asking team-mates to wait; without Wiggins they would have won 2 GTs and currently have a good stab at a 3rd...?

Didn't see today's stage, but he clearly didn't collapse completely, and he's still 4th on GC. Beginning to entertain the possibility that he just started the race a bit undercooked and will remain in contention.

similar to Hesjedal, I don't think Wiggo will win a grand tour ever again and slip into cycling's supporting cast and maybe into oblivion after this season. He's also a one hit wonder, and will become an "also ran" come 2014, 2015, 2016..

Wiggins has always been a mental weakling. As long as everything goes his way, he is okay. As soon as he faces a bit of adversity, he starts skrying like a baby.

I doubt whether anyone has mentioned it to him due to the fact that you made it up.

When asked if he'd be willing to work for Uran, he said, "yeah, it depends how it plays out each day really".

What a cocky ******* this guy is. I can't wait until he continues to get b!tch-slapped by Nibali and Evans next two weeks.

He's a whole second behind Uran who has never finished top three in a GT, as opposed to Wiggins who has won one and podiumed in two more. Sounds like a perfectly reasonable statement to me. If he was the cocky ******** you describe him as then Uran would have never been allowed up the road today. Wiggins is far more likely to podium than Uran at the moment.

Why the 'Lol'? Just cause Wiggins said something and you hate him

It could well be the hardest stage for him

Really. Or may be Wiggins hasn't studied Giro stages properly.

Those GTs don't matter. The wins would not have have been by a true Brit.

I totally agree.

Although Sky might want to consider both of them protected riders from now on.

Sir Wiggo isn't done yet. Very strong team with some tactical options to play and we are only halfway in the race.

Still all to play for.

If you are expecting tactical genius from Team Sky then prepare to be sadly disappointed.

I guess that prediction relies on the team ordering Uran to slow down so Wigans is not embarrassed.

LOL. Wiggins says this is the toughest stage in this giro.

He also says he's open to helping Uran at the Giro.

Wiggins going going gone... backwards:eek:
List of excuses
1) Cataldo's bug - 1:00 loss
2) Rain - 2:00 loss
3) Bike started to growl - 1:00 loss
4) Puncture - 0:30 loss
5) Crash - 1:00 loss
6) Cold - 0:40 loss
7) Columbian Conspiracy - 3:00 loss
8) Others - 2:00 loss
9) UFOs - 2:00 loss
So actually he would have won but for the above factors:D.
