So... this race will be determined just as much by what happens in the little blue shed?

Mattias... whatever you do... if you need to go; be careful!

As my mother used to say on a 7 hour drive whilst stubbornly refusing to stop; You should’ve gone to the toilet before we left the house.

If Mollema wins this, he'd be the oldest world champion ever, thirty-four days older than Zoetemelk.

If Seixas wins, he'd be the youngest ever, two years younger than Karel Kaers.
It's weird, Mollema is actually a pretty well known attrition style one day racer, but he's never been top 10 at the WC

Very disappointing. He needs to learn to suffer more to reach his potential. After all, you can't always feel good on the bike.
In a circuit, what is the point? Specially in a classic where you don't need to race tomorrow.

They call pee break a sanitary stop now on pcs? Because if it’s me and it means taking a ***, I’m 25 minutes behind the peloton

Very steady pace since the race settled down. One more lap before the next phase begins. Many doms have their finish-line soon, so can empty the tank by getting some work done.

It matters because you dont jump off if you are feeling a bit off as its normal not to be 100% on the bike. And if you want to be a team leader then you need to learn to suffer.

Smart of Schmid, others that know they won't be able to follow on Mount Kigali should've followed.

It seems the Swiss are trying to use the same tactics as in the women's race. We'll see if that will work out slightly better today.
