Sounds nice. Are you your own boss? Maybe you can add some of your creations to the beer thread (and where we can get 'em).

When you have a "regular" job you have one boss. In the hospitality biz everybody is your boss. That said I own 49% of my brewery / restaurant / b&b hotel. The wife owns 51%. Distribution of beer limited to the SW corner of Wisconsin, but thanks for asking.

Until 30th October I am an sales ledger accountant in insurance (read credit controller), and then I become a man of leisure (read unemployed). From there I think I am going to give it a go and get some real winter mileage in and start racing again in 2010. Only question then is to stay in the UK or move to Belgium/France?

I am going to quit my job and become an Iraqi shoe thrower. This profession can lead to a jail term, but the benefits include a free house, free car, and status as a hero.

my only wish is i hope some one gets him next time.that man is a hero and i love him for doing what he did.i would do the same thing regardless.the americans have to much say as to what goes on in this world, just look at what they did to us this time.

amen moondance, i'm also a full-time student...what are you studying?

Kinda difficult to answer. It's a combination of a bunch of social sciences, psychology, epistemology, literature studies, cultural studies, law, economics. Sort of like Liberal Arts in the US, except we don't have the freedom to choose our own subjects.

So basically you are well qualified to hang about in Cafes and put the World to rights :D ;)

Welcome

Probably a dumb question but what do you do in the Summer?

(And apologies if there are as many or more avalanches in the Summer as Winter months )

Construction, ranch work, computer work, consulting and I ride my bike (mountain and road) as much as I can. I essentially try to pick up as many odd jobs as I can without going insane. Yesterday, I went skiing...September in Colorado!

Well, I did have a high paying job as a wholesale non-conforming mortgage account executive...then I destroyed the world economy and went into advertising sales. I am good at sales, but don't enjoy it too much, so I will be taking the LSAT in December and hopefully going to law school next fall.

I was tempted to say that I never picked you for the lawyer type, but then I thought about it.............:D
