dimspace said:officially redundant, but also officially on long term sick...
will be redundant once the acting manager can get all my stock sold and get my shop shut... they cant make me redundant yet cos im still off sick..
although technically i do still have the right to return to work, prior to the closure as long as they can find time to do my return to work interview..
hmm.. dilemma...

dimspace said:im well enough to cause **** though...
the branch will be closed within a month, my current sick note runs out next week.. i can phone them up next week and say i want to return to work...
i cant technically return to work until they have done a back to work interview, now my area manager has just been made redundant with immediate effect, so who would conduct the interview.. would probably take them a month to sort it out, by which time i would be redundant..
but having declared my desire to return to work, they would have to pay me..
then again, ive just done all the government long term sick forms so its not really worth the hassle..
and besides.. the wifes looking forward to spending xmas with me..![]()

Incidentally, those of you looking for a great place for winter training/mileage, this place is perfect. \a group goes out everyday, the weather is perfect, the terrain is perfect and you can live here for £200 per month. So those of you who have been made redundant your flight from the UK as low as £400 plus 600 for 3 months and for a £1000 you can have a 3-month warm weather training camp.
