Lets not forget Froome finally saw the inside of a windtunnel a few weeks ago(A good example that how much a team shouts about all their focus on science has absolutely no relation to how much they actually focus on science )

Dauphine was after the wind tunnel, so I wouldn't be expecting him to suddenly beat Tony Martin.

You mean the guy who finished ~2' plus to the other contenders on Ax3??? I don't think so. Anyone know the pollen situation tomorrow?
It is not a mountain stage if you hadn't noticed. Evans was a lot stronger on stage 9 as well. I guess Alberto can use the allergy excuse when he does badly tomorrow.

I think Tony is not at his best condition for the crash.

GC riders:

Froome
Porte 20 sec
Kiatlowski 30
Rogers 35
Kreuziger, Fulgsang 40
Valverde 50
Rui Costa 55
Peraud, Mollema 1:00
Contador 1:10
Andy Schleck 1.20
Igor Anton, Quintana, Purito 1.30
Mikel Nieve, Dan Martin, Ten Dam 1.40

With head or cross winds more time.
So Nieve, Kwiatkowski, Anton, Peraud and Schleck are GC contenders and Evans isn't? That's hilarious.

There are only two things to watch on this stage:

1-) How many "minutes" is Froome going to put on everyone to seal once for all his 1st TDF title.
2-) How "ridiculous" is going to get Porte's performance to win the stage & climb up to the top 5

Clinic will go mental if Froome beats Martin ;)

That's going to happen because Froome destroyed Martin last year over 40k.

And then humiliated everyone some 10 stages later.

Given the overwhelming power Froome/Porte have, if they don't go alien tomorrow it will be a strange stage.

hfer07, I will give them 30 seconds spread between Sky riders, then 1 minute or more to third.

Richie won't go hard. Hopefully Froome will make him a gift - stage win at Ventoux or Semnoz. It would be a nice gesture.

Haha, yes I know what type of a stage it is. His suffering on Stage 8 suggest hes not at his peak form. As for Alberto, I figure he's in the same boat form-wise, hence my question about pollen levels in advance--cut through the bs upfront (fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me):D

I'm a Contador fan, but that's not synonymous with being a fool. I hope for a better result than the Dauphine, but that may not be enough for him to minimize his losses to Froome et al

Edit: improve on Dauphine performance AND put in the best time on his team

Can anyone tell me whether AC has put a good result in ITT after his return from the suspension?

I cant recollect a single instance when he ended up in top 10 in an ITT stage.

3rd at TDF, 2nd at Vuelta, 9th at WC...although they were all hilly. his real decline started this year.

But therse are very old results right?

I was asking for any recent good result. AC can't lose time to Froome, or else this tdf wont be worth watching. :(

Alberto's form does not look great although I hope I am proved wrong. You can tell on both stage 8 & 9 that he was not that great. I think Kreuziger could top 3 on the stage.

Kreuziger is a name I left out of my top 10. Oh well. You're right. I'd give him a great chance to finish in the mid to high top 10.

Any outside bets for podium, Tuft, Talansky, Millar, Meyer, Boom, Westra?

I would have bet Westra if he was having an easy day in stage 10.

Talansky might do in tht list. He needs to redeem himself. Meyer has been silent so far in the race, so dont know how he will fair today.
