Yeah, it’s been the most un-Simon Yates performance of his recent career. No attacks, no wins, no randomly exploding. Big Haimar Energy.
But I am actually curious on what is to come. Maybe instead of blowing up he will totally rule the 3rd week.

Or he will continue to ride like this and does a good but rather boring GC. Maybe thats just the trade off he has to deal with to constantly finish high.
 
At least until the Zoncolan. He has been a ninja for the whole race. Not even attacking once.
If a “week” = a 7 day period, then Zoncolan is indeed Week 3. It’s something (though not at all important) never clear. Because GTs are 21 stages plus 2 rest days, is Week 3 the last full calendar week (sun-Sat, or for some of you Mon-Sun), or perhaps Week 3 is the part of the race that follows the 2nd rest day? Inquiring minds want to know ;)

Obviously the week starts on Monday, not Sunday.
