Not really. There was no crash in the same corner 3 years ago, and while it was damp today, you'd expect the riders to ride with more of a margin then. Philipsen didn't.

And today @jasperphilipsen crashed in the final of the third stage of @tirreno_adriatico. Luckily he only has some bruises and can start tomorrow in stage 4.

Impressed at the commitment to fitting six tricky corners into the final 2km. Mix that in with the 4/5% slope and this will be a very hard sprint I think, lots of stop starts on a tricky enough gradient.
