I like it that he lost this way, will only motivate him more for sunday.

And he directly congratulated Martin, nice one AC.

Looking forward to FINALLY see a decent shaped team built around AC in a GT.

To be honest, I prefer the strongest rider to have a relatively weak team, simply because it makes for a more open competition. When you give the top dude a very strong team, you can easily end up with races with no suspense.

And Kreuziger, Roche, etc is an extremely strong support team.

I love it when the strongest rider has a very strong team, cause I want total Alberto domination :D

Cheers. I had no doubt Sergio would understand Spanish but just wondered if AC was showing his class (again) by encouraging him in his native language:)
The Portuguese have no trouble understanding spoken Spanish. It's a bit harder the other way around, because in spoken European Portuguese many vowels have been dropped, but Spaniards usually understand spoken Brazilian Portuguese just fine.

I had Astana 2009 in mind. A pity it went as it did since it was a pretty strong team indeed.

And, of course, the Team in the Vuelta was indeed good to very good with Paulhino finding his 2004 form, the revolution Majka and add to that Kreutziger and Roche with an in-form Contador for next years Tour. Intresting times.

Tour 10 was also a strong team.

Contador says that his legs will be better for sure sunday.

Damn I love this dude lol

I'm not saying he'll win it, he needs to be very lucky. He has no sprint at all.

But he'll make the race exciting like he always does

Contador looked really old and knackered today.

In five years time he will be like this:

Didnt Contador go manx missile on the intermeidate sprint for 2 seconds on stage 2 this year.

Against who was that? And what was the gain?

A lot of the favorite, i think pretty much everyone has a better sprint than him.

Boonen, piti, purito, gerrans, gilbert, sagan, nibali (yeah even him lol), freire, degenkolb.

hmm, Nibali needs to break away from the puncheurs like Gilbert and Purito in order to win. Maybe him and Contador should form an alliance.

Contador can promise him some stage wins in the tour maybe ;)

Hm, I don't think that's true either. Cycling is after all a team sport. No matter how strong Alberto, he still needs a strong team. yes in 2011 Giro he looked like he didn't need his team. But TDF is a different story. He can't single hand destroy SKY train without the help of a strong team. Sky this year is a proof that strong team can win without having a strong leader. (well I guess this is relative statement then… ). But anyway, we saw how dominant sky train was in TDF. They neutralized every single attack. Whether or not that would be the case next year... that's TBD.

Contador is a better sprinter than polyglot:p He was forced to learn english because he is a star;)

On the other hand, big defeat today losing 2:30 in a hilly TT. He should do the road race and Lombardia and end his season to prepare well the next.

His form was ok but nothing special. At least he won his main goal

Its a demand by Riss as well, Everyone on SBt have to learn english. I know he has been very strict on that in the past.

I am from Brazil... for us is not hard to understand spanish (Argentine, Espana) or Italian.... but it is very hard to Italians and Spanishs to understand portuguese...

three months ago I was in Lisboa and there was some italians talking near me.. I was understanding most part of the conversation... So I tryed to ask them something easy.. but they could not understand nothing...

It was very strange.. hehe... maybe must be this thing with the vowels!

Sometime is more hard to us, brazilian, understand the portugal guys talking than the spanish!! hehe
