Nice that the taking a coffee trope
has now become an implicit advert
for his sponsor.
All by accident.
We still need a big "how's that coffee Contador?" commercial for the sponsor, that would actually be a somewhat good marketing stunt for the sponsor. :D

I didn't follow the whole Contador/Tinkov thing, but why is he so mad at Alberto. That wasn't the first time he is attacking extremely harsh and personal. Anyone knows more or is it just Tinkov being Tinkov?
I think he just feels that Contador let him down. That he wasn't 100% committed and didn't do enough to integrate into the team and to be an effective leader. Ultimately, he signed Contador to win the Tour, yet Contador got nowhere near doing so. So it's kind of understandable that Tinkov would be disappointed with how it turned out. And I guess being ridiculously over the top, throwing around insults, is his very childish way of showing that disappointment.

Tinkov being Tinkov, of course, but it's clear something happened between them, probably a lot. Maybe we'll know in a couple of years. My guess is that Tinkov wasn't happy Contador "rejected" his lifestyle. It can't be just about the lack of big wins.

Not that he cares, but it reflects much more negatively on Oleg than Alberto. He invests in a rider that is past his prime, expects miracles and when those dreams are crushed, he has a two year tantrum. He may just be the most classless figure in cycling right now and by a large margin.

Exactly. And going one step further, I think it reflects well on Alberto that such an idiot dislikes him so much.

Exactly; not sure it's wise for a businessman to keep on publicising a disastrous transaction that he made several years ago. This whole episode just reflects badly on both Tinkov's judgement, and on his ability to recover and move on from a bad decision.

It reflects well on Alberto that he refuses to raise to the bait. Which is probably what pisses Olga off more - he's the kind of person that seems to need attention all the time and of any sort. Being ignored must be a special kind of hell.

But there is clearly something very personal behind this. Contador clearly opposed him / humiliated him in some way for this degree of antipathy to arise.
