Small Danish forum. The person saw him in a bar/restaurant the day before together with a few teammates and soigneurs. Andy ordered a can of beer (I'd guess around a litre) and drank it quickly. Don't know if any of the others drank anything though or if/how much he drank afterwards.

Thanks. When you look back to his interviews and racing a couple of years ago, the difference in motivation and attitude seems vast

This is so sad. I feel really sorry for andy. He seems to be depressed. Where is frank and why isnt he helping him? I dont know what to say but his team need to stop him from racing and give him time to psychologically heal. If the head isnt right then the body is pointless.
He desperately needs a psychiatrist.

he is a smart guy, psychiatrist only work with dumb people

Kim shouldn't even react to it.

Who the hell cares. How is it anyone business other than Andy's himself that he's been p'issed?

And it's even coming from a polician..

Hypocrisy of highest order. This reminds me of that cringing time where Tiger Woods had to excuse the whole world for cheating his wife.

It doesn't and shouldn't concern us.

I agree. But now Becca wants Andy to comment on the case officially.

A small Danish forum a member of which just happened to be in the same hotel:rolleyes:

You guess a litre out of a can:rolleyes:

Anyway, back to the Munich story. Has anyone questioned why Andy would be in Munich? It's not an obvious place to be trying to get home to Lux after T-A (remember no Clinic talk folks;)) Is Andy such a drunk he is seeking out the Beer drinking capital of Europe? Or is it just BS. Or indeed is it Andy.

Faxe is a fairly popular Danish beer I believe (hell I know it in Australia) which comes in 1 litre cans. Not sure if that is common for danish beer

Forget Andy - after reading the last few pages I am depressed and in need of a drink.

While they rarely overdo it plenty of pro's have a beer even during stage races.
And when a race ends they let their hair down - just like everyone else.

For those who might be of the persuasion that these are Pro's who treat their bodies as temples do not watch this video of 3 pro's racing down the beers during the season.

Huh?
How do you know how much I spend here?

All pro riders interest me. He is a Pro rider, not a robot, a lot of the stuff here is plain silly.

Joking aside, Criterium International is his next race I believe, fully expect him to finish it and hopefully he can do a bit better on the Mountain stage than in Tirreno.

They're a bunch of retards, they're putting more and more pressure on him when wat he needs his peace to find the love for the bike again

I don't see how they've been putting pressure on him?
It seems to me they have been trying to help him to get back in shape as best they can.

Generally things like that, that you hear over the internet, should be taken with a grain of salt. Unless the guy had something like a photo or video that proves without a shadow of a doubt that it is true, you can't really be sure if it's true.

And why is that? They are not exactly anonymous people, they are role models for a lot of kids and youngsters, and they have a responsibility to live up to, its the cost that follows fame and fortune, if he wants to get ****ed, do it at home behind closed doors, just like most people do, if your a celebrity and you **** up in public, you have to take the heat, and Andy and Tiger knows it very well, and gets payed very well for the same reason among others. Only idiots and ignorants believes otherwise.

Isn´t Voigt living around Munich? I think we can drop the Clinic talk, if hes taking it must be the worst drug ever. ;)

It could be too much drugs. They shriveled his balls to the size of pinheads. He is going cold turkey until they get back to normal size.

Responsibility? They ones with responsibility are the kids parents. Not a pair of effing sports personalities. They are experts at sports - not experts in what an appropriate behaviour is. Getting p'issed in a hotel bar isn't even inappropriate here if the worst crime you do is to miss the elevator button on the way up..

What kind of pathethic rule is that? That you have to isolate yourself to take a drink because you'd might be recognized.?

You are american, aren't you. This is the typical american 'moral and ethics' manual over and over again.

It wasn't in a hotel;) It was in a bar/restaurant in Lido di Camaiore the day before the race.

I didn't estimate it was a litre. The eyewitness did.
Han bestilte straks en kande med en liter øl, og drak den

EDIT: it's because I mistranslated 'kande'
you think I meant:
url

But I meant:

I trust this person. He isn't anonymous. Very likely to be true.

Becca not happy with Andy
