Yes - RVV especially. In PR I could see someone faster taking the win, but ain't no buddy gonna stop him on the bergs.

If ofcourse it ends in a group sprint. Even then I think, Fabians 4th place today indicates that he can beat almost anybody in a sprint if the race is tough enough

Especially since Degenkolb is injured, Kristoff completely out of shape and Sagan...well Sagan currently does anything but sprinting. Said differently, there are hardly any of the favorites are sprinters and the biggest dangers in a sprint are probably riders like GVA and even Boonen and even they could be beaten by Cancellara.

I agree with you. I guess I was saying, if he loses one of these two races, it'll be PR imo. I definitely think he can take the double.

Of course I'm bummed to see him retire, but I think I'd rather him go out on top. He's been around for awhile. He's often said he has more of a life than just cycling. Even if he did stick around, it would only be for a max of 2 years imo...he ain't young anymore.

Unfortunately the coverage didn't lend to time how fast Canc went up the Kwaremont.

On Paterberg, he was 4" slower than Kwiatkowski. The gap on the top was 39", meanwhile on top of Kwaremont it was down to 30" on Sagan. So he must have ridden Kwaremont easily as fast as Sagan/Terpstra/Boom. Truly amazing after all the chasing he did previously.

He will win Flanders for a 4th time. Roubaix a bit more complicated, but possible too.

Alright, in that case, his performance is even more impressive !

Another thing, what are the chances that Gent Wevelgem will be selective this sunday? I'm wondering if Fabian has any chance of a result there or if it will be the usual sprinter's race

Benoot will do GW because it will be bad weather (lot of rain). Originally he would not do that race.

Rewatched the Kwaremont and actually the gap was down to 22" midway. Then it went up to 30" again at the top when first Terpstra and then Sagan accelerated in the 2nd part. So yeah, probably same time (or 1 or 2" difference) on the whole climb.

Hes been really unlucky last couple of years at E3. 2012 punctured just as he was starting to destroy Kwaremont, 2014 caught behind a crash before Paterberg, 2015 - broke his back. And now again something happened. Pretty sure Cance would of won at least in one of those years.

Has Cancellara always been shite at writing in English? Cause last couple weeks all his tweets look like they're written by 4 year olds. Can't remember that it was this bad in the past? This clashes with his interviews where he always thinks all his answers well trough.

I accept to losing a race but this crash stop it my and @petosagan winning chances. #cyclingskills
