percentage wise its Black and Latino Hispanic.Which is the largest group of unvaccinated people in Arkansas at present? Uneducated BIPOC or uneducated white people?

I predict a long wave of varriants around june, july of 2022 that will be blown out of proportion by the media.Interesting IMO:
How Will the Coronavirus Evolve?
Delta won’t be the last variant. What will the next ones bring?www.newyorker.com
There is no data on it. Just an opinion by a few here in the thread.Any data on whites without college degrees being less likely to be vaccinated than BIPOC without college degrees in Arkansas? Or are you back to your base rate fallacy?
Which has zero to do with the graph of COVID hospitalizations that I posted. Which, incidentally, hit another record yesterday. Fortunately, the number only went up 44 beds, so maybe their outbreak is starting to crest.Did you ever see that article where the CDC recently doubled case rate for Florida and had to revise the numbers?
For Maryland, that meant going from about 90,000 of the single-shot immunizations to roughly 11,000, Hogan said, calling it a “big hit.”
"STUDY FINDS THE MOST HIGHLY EDUCATED AMERICANS ARE ALSO THE MOST VACCINE HESITANT."I don't think that is true. For Asians, the level of education doesn't matter. It does for the other races. See figure 1. It is data from March, but I don't think opinions have changed much.
And it should be noted that so many of the low vaccination states really have few non-whites living in them.
Education Is Now a Bigger Factor Than Race in Desire for COVID-19 Vaccine
New survey results show while racial and ethnic differences in vaccine hesitancy persist, level of education now has a stronger effect on people’s willingness to get the vaccine.healthpolicy.usc.edu
Maybe you missed it, but that also coincided with a huge manufacturing issue by the sole US manufacturer, leading to a significant drop in available vaccines.

Worth noting that the hesitancy numbers way undershot what actually happened. The high groups of hesitancy were in the low 20s. The low groups were around 10%. Needless to say, we have not approached that level of vaccine uptake in any category. Calls into question the self selecting facebook survey tool IMO. Or possible that the phd groups were the only ones telling the truth. Not much of a counterpoint:
"On July 26 2021, Carnegie Mellon University issued a press release about the research, reiterating the findings about vaccine hesitancy in PhDs in a contextually accurate fashion:"
"A study conducted by researchers from Carnegie Mellon University and the University of Pittsburgh has found that vaccine hesitancy has decreased among US adults by one-third between January and May 2021. While tentative people are concerned about COVID-19 vaccine safety and potential side effects, those with stronger views tend to distrust the government."
"The largest decrease in hesitancy between January and May [2021] by education group was in those with a high school education or less. Hesitancy held constant in the most educated group (those with a PhD); by May PhD’s were the most hesitant group [among the vaccine hesitant]. While vaccine hesitancy decreased across virtually all racial groups, Black people and Pacific Islanders had the largest decreases, joining Hispanics and Asians at having lower vaccine hesitancy than white people in May [2021]."
PhDs sound pretty educated to me - it's certainly more than I have. Lol.

If people had done the right thing, there would be hundreds of thousands of people alive now who are dead. So much of this was disaster was preventable. And the next one will be even worse.

Interesting. I'd like to see the respondent breakdown too. The meme curve needs more explanation, like what data doesn't add up?"STUDY FINDS THE MOST HIGHLY EDUCATED AMERICANS ARE ALSO THE MOST VACCINE HESITANT."

I agree, he's your kind of MD. The fact that he disregards viral load makes it clear that he has put himself above all else.
We agree on this. I'll add mental/emotional health, and even rest to help our immune system. The next wave or another variant? Because the Lambda variant is now on the horizon:
Deadly Lambda variant could be neutralizing vaccines, new study says
Researchers in Japan have provided new evidence that the ballooning COVID-19 Lambda variant may be as contagious as Delta while evading vaccine efforts.www.google.com
This one appears vaccine resistance - so what are people going to do now? Lockdowns? Masks? Social distancing? People in constant fear again? IMO, natural immunity is going to win out in the long run. There's too many variants emerging and the vaccines can't seem keep up. People are just going to be in a constant state of fear & hysteria. They'll be screaming at the government to protect them. Time to invest in some personal improvement to strengthen the immune system; healthy nutrition, excercise, vitamins & maintaining good D3 levels. A healthy & well functioning immune system can perform miraculously.
How Nutrition can help to fight against COVID-19 Pandemic
Currently Covid-19 pandemic is a leading challenge across the globe. It is mandatory to attain and maintain good nutritional status to fight against virus. Nutritional status of individual is affected by several factors such as age, sex, health status, ...www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov
There is really no way for me to guess. BUT, wouldn't it seem like people would be: "hey, they held that one so maybe they are looking out for us"? There are too many factors in vaccination rates to point to any one factor in up or down rates as 'THE' factor.Speaking of which, I've seen that there's a correlation between the announcement by FDA and CDC to pause the J&J vaccine (April 13th) and when the number of (first) vaccinations declined.
How much would you (the Americans here) say it affected the perception of (and discourse about) vaccines and the trustworthiness of the FDA and CDC?
