16th @ 2 minutes, not too bad. He also keeps the white jersey. :)

Agreed. I purposefully overstated it in relation to the times of the main contenders (meaning, 2m is quite a lot re the group of favorites).

However, when taking his age and experience into account, I think he rode a pretty good stage.

In the larger scheme of things, he is making great progress. :)

How could anyone not love a guy who never attacks, never wins, never smiles, never does anything but sits behind his buddies not losing time?

He won the ITT: Doesn't that count?;)
Seriously, he actually won a sprint finish in Romandie............OK, against Paolo Tiralongo.

It was deadly dull when Lance patented this "style" for riding Le Tour and it certainly hasn't improved with age, but it is effective.

We've all had a good laugh at Andy's expense, but with Contador in the penalty box, we needed him on stellar form to stir things up.

As for the sudden rash of doping insinuations- head over to the madhouse, where you will find your brothers in arms.

Nah, more like Gewiss or USP.

Again, not USP at all, only one GC guy who destroyed the field everywhere (except in 2003), as for Gewiss just a bunch of average druggies who never won a major stage race, or was Gotti on Gewiss? Anyway, different times.

There you have three very talented guys who could be leaders anywhere exactly like La Vie Claire.

I really don't get the Sky hate? Frustrated dudes dont like a winner, eh? Been following cycling for 35 years now and I don't smell a rat there, honestly, unlike LA, Flandis, Bertie, etc...

What would be really interesting, is to listen to Cav's thoughts on witnessing this roll-over. Not his public pronouncements, but what he +really+ thinks.

My goodness just came home, How was cadel on the climb average, good or suffering as expected?
Congrats to sky. But I think when the RSNT put the hammer down on the climb in le tour. And we get to see the cream of the crop. Only froome will be left.
Froome is the real deal.

Gewiss riders weren't talented? Hellooooo? Moreno Argentin calling?

You might be missing the point.

Hmm, when was the last time Rogers climbed so well? Sky did not look like they were working that hard.

BTW - Gewiss did win races, and Sky's performances this year are very 'out of this world'

Rogers and Froome actually didn't hit the front even once during the climb, so it was only EBH and Porte who actually worked for Wiggins. Rogers and Froome might as well have been riding for any other team, and it wouldn't have mattered.

They probably had something of a deterrent effect.

Nice one, Quintana

Boring race otherwise thanks to UKPS-Ballan...crappy days are here again; EBH is the new Hincapie.

Froome is the real deal.

Sky paced whole way up the climb and Evans tucked behind. EBH was immennse and dropped most of the peleton. Then Porte went.

Quiantana attacked with 5km to go to the top and got nice gap and did good decent and won.

At one point Evans looked to be struggling, but then at the top attacked but was easily caught. He then attacked with 3/4km to go and got 7 secs gap on descent.
He took some risks too and got there at the end with 2nd.

Froome, Wiggo and Rogers didnt even once hit the front on the climb or descent :p

Ohh, Nibali was dropped at the bottom of Joux Plane. Tt was quite funny :p JvdB looked strong though.

I thought it was a bit sad today. What was he trying to do? He didn't ride for the GC, nor for the stage win. Some random risks three weeks before the Tour. Better than nothing, agreed, but it looked a bit desperate.

Great he is racing a bit like Gilbert in the tour last year. Attacking late to get enough points for the green jersey.
Cadel already got the yellow once, now its time for the green jersey!!
