Krebs, are quite a few of your dishes you have posted traditional mexican as some of the things on your pics look quite different to what I have seen before. Who cooks more in your household? You or your wife/partner (assuming your married)? Does your wife/partner find it odd that you take pictures of the meals you eat?

some dishes are traditional. most come about by what needs to be used up in the fridge. I live alone so I cook. I bought my house in Mexico to retire in. hurt my back and moved here a few years early. the plan was to have a vegetable garden, write a cookbook ride my bike and go bodysurfing. The pics I take for my old friends up North. half of my friends hate the pics cause they are on diets the other half hate them because I'm not there to cook for them.

Puréed spinach in a garlic infused roux with egg bread. Pure unadulterated turbo power on the bike.

That looks good!

Lamb braised with tomato, onion, garlic and green olives. Artichoke heart and onion salad. Rice with chopped spinach and crushed red pepper. Wish I would of had some red bell pepper for the artichokes then every dish would have been red, white and green! Viva Italia!

I'm sure the camote man overcharged me. It was $40 pesos or about $3.00USD

Nutella is good.. But being from the USA it's all about peanut butter. Never had Nutella till I was in my 30's
maybe a sweet potato pie with a Nutella glaze

Pork braised in red chile and BBQ sauce. Elbow macaroni with caramelized onion and garlic with Romano and mozzarella cheese. Really needed some parsley.
