Well, obviously, but that doesn’t make it less annoying. It must be possible to find a commentary setup that doesn‘t make it sound like her lungs are currently failing!I don't think she's doing it on purpose

I'm only just watching the replay now, and I came here to complain about it.Why is Pippa York always heavily breathing into the microphone? It is horribly unnerving and makes me want to turn the sound off!
Interesting that as a rider the mere idea of their saying anything, especially to the media, often seemed a struggle or viewed with distaste.I'm only just watching the replay now, and I came here to complain about it.
I've been watching for 8 minutes now, he hasn't stopped talking once, I believe.Surprisingly, Brian Smith isn't terrible at doing solo commentary. A lot of 'expert commentators' are completely lost if they have to, for whatever reason, carry the broadcast for a bit. But Smith is doing a decent job at the Czech Tour, I think. He's not a great waffler of course, which means he's usually straight to the point. Which is refreshing.
Well, he's had a lot of race-related things to talk about so far. But my point is he's not talking about inane irrelevant things like Cox & York do at Wallonie for most of the broadcast, or like José Been does on many occasions.I've been watching for 8 minutes now, he hasn't stopped talking once, I believe.

Case in point: I switch to Wallonie after the Czech Tour has finished, and with 16 km remaining and hard racing happening, the first thing I hear is Cox talking about pork chops for several minutes.Cox is shocking at waffling on and missing important parts of the race. I am convinced that Cox does not watch the TV screen when he is waffling.
Yeah, it's quite weird...Case in point: I switch to Wallonie after the Czech Tour has finished, and with 16 km remaining and hard racing happening, the first thing I hear is Cox talking about pork chops for several minutes.
And they can't distinguish Herzog from Wandahl... but then again, neither can PCS, apparentlyCase in point: I switch to Wallonie after the Czech Tour has finished, and with 16 km remaining and hard racing happening, the first thing I hear is Cox talking about pork chops for several minutes.

You have to think Israel might have been served better by trying to take the race to Tudor rather than having to burn through their riders to catch the break.
It was Herzog. They said Wandahl, PCS said Herzog.
Who was right?
You have made this pun 20 times now, and it wasn't good the first time...They'll just have to hope Corbin is strong enough to finish it off.

Trentin still has it on countback, hence no celebration by Strong. You would think any commentator would figure that out...
I think they said Herzog at one point (it was Wandahl)They said Wandahl, PCS said Herzog.

But I'm not sure what that's got to do with the commentating.

Trentin just made the same pun (I don't think it was deliberate). It was Herzog.

Does number of stage wins count (in this case obviously tied) or is it just adding up the placements? I‘ve forgotten.
Knowing Trentin a bit, he was trying to avoid saying Strong was very Strong.Trentin just made the same pun (I don't think it was deliberate).
