Seriously, how sh!t would it be for andy if his main rival dopes, his own brother dopes, and he, somehow didn't. He'd be white hot furious, surely?

No wonder he's 'unmotivated'

Andy Schleck wasn't really on the scene yet in 2006... I'm inclined to think that is the only reason he is not in the Fuentes files.

I often contemplate whether the Grand Tour neophyte had to store blood bags for the Giro, if all that was one global experiment and if Andy had simply finished back then it would have regarded like a good perfomance. So IMO there were no BB's in the Giro. The 2nd place was gained on CERA.

the source of the article is the dutch news paper NRC and NRC specifically states that Andy wasn't a client.

In the Danish version, the key word is "ikke" - "not". Google translate danish > English is not correct

Thank you for clarifying that.

waste of bandwidth.

Andy uses proctologists, not gynocologists.

The UCI will most likely not appeal the ALAD's verdict against Fränk Schleck.

At midnight during the night to Friday, their delay ended. UCI spokesman Enrico Carpani is quoted saying "Until now I have not received orders to prepare a press statement". If that didn't change until 24:00, then only WADA could still appeal during the next 21 days.

So there's still hope of a meaningful ban? Good. Come on WADA!

It's a bit hard to understand why this treatment of favor is not appealed:
- masking agent
- no explanation whatsoever provided other than "if I had wanted to dope I would have taken better stuff"
-> 2 year ban !

Good thing he's not doing any races while this is being cleared up ;)
So another 21 Days, then? Figured it'd be about the same day for both UCI and WADA... the more you know.

UCI will not appeal. Papa Johnny Schleck is Pat's mate.

I dunno but I think people really overestimate Johny Schleck's influence in cycling. I honestly think he has none whatsoever except telling his sons to be careful on descends. The only job he ever had in cycling after his pro career was driver for VIP's IINM. I might be wrong though - do you have any sources or rumours on this?

There was a piece on Pat, a few years ago in a cycling mag. Pat said to Johnny, who was thinking of stopping his sons cycling, 'Johnny, I'm the new boss and the sport will be clean, let them ride'.

When I have some time, I will trawl through all my old magazines, find the piece and get it up.

No worries, I believe you... though it would be intersting to see

That may be, but that doesn't make them best pals.
Then again, with the alleged drinking problem and Pat being Oirish and the best beer coming from the magical green island, you might be on the right track altogether.
