It will be interesting to see how much the Clinic will put Israel Start Up Nation under scrutiny next year now that Froome is there.
Just putting it out there......

I'm curious, can you explain why that will be interesting? I don't want to make an assumption.

maybe Rintintin expect a higher interest in Israel´s politics and Palestine situation, same as when the environmental and petrol interest raised sky high ;) when Ineos came in as the new sponsor for Froome´s team last year

They showed him in the climb at the end and yeah, basically he was "on foot", zero power, the more it goes, the worse it gets...He's finally admitted that he "wasn't seeing the same numbers in training as in the past", previously it was like "gee I wonder what's going on, the numbers look great".

I wouldn't be surprised if he is DNS for the TDF to avoid embarrassing himself even more. That has to be one of the worst come backs in sports ever.

He's at altitude all the time, training hard in big blocks. If he was going to get better it would be slowly happening already, instead it's getting worse.

Heavier than before, no Ineos marginal gains, leg shattered. He will be retired soon if he can't find a way to get results.

he looked awful on that Factor as well. His position appears to have changed a bit . Definitely unlike his position on his former Bollide. Also his lack of clenbuterol dosing is showing in his results. Until his new doctor finds a substitute, I'm afraid his career is done.

Phoning it in big time.

This is pretty much a no win situation. He either is so bad that he will fight to make the time cuts if he indeed goes to the tour, or he will turn it around in such outrageous fashion that the suspension of disbelief necessary to explain it away would be magnitudes higher than ever before.

As for the olympics? Not a reasonable possibility

He's apparently a minute down on the main bunch today.

Told Swiss jurnos he's been doing a lot of weights and core work so a little overweight because of that.

Yeh, ok. Nothing to do with you been off the slimming gear.

He said he put on upper body muscle because of the rehab work.

Laughable.

Or true and he's actually the stupidest person to every throw a leg over a bike. Take your pick. I'll go with laughable.

In one of his videos Horner speculated that maybe he wasn't recovering well and therefore had to eat more, it happened to him apparently after his accident in the tunnel in 2014...

New theory - Froome has additional weight from being so full of sh*t.

Unfortunate fact: all the doping in the world does not wave a magic wand and enable one to simply recover from catastrophic injuries.

Truth: if we see even a hint that Froome is within top 10 Tour form or likely in for the Olympics, then the he's found a new chemical breakthrough!

How did he do today? He's such a non factor that I completely forgot to look him up!

So 110th out of 123th at 33'43"...no comment !

The Fancy Bears hack revealed Sky and Chris Froome used a Therapeutic Use Exemption to lawfully take the corticosteroid Prednisolone in May, 2013 and April, 2014.

Now, ex-doping cyclist David Millar describes it as a "once a year" medication so maybe Froome has not had his yet, based on those dates, which were seasons that he started the Tdf.

If he gets his jab before his next race at the end of May (Critérium du Dauphiné) then we should see a big improvement if he has recovered from his injuries (still questionable).

Ex-doper Joerg Jaksche says such medicinal drugs give a 3-5% improvement by reducing weight, reducing inflammation, improving recovery and reducing pain.

Would this really be sufficient to transform the Froome we see now into a WT contender?

Seems like a reach............

if this is a once a year medication, why he didn't take it in 2015 an 2016....
