Oh my, some good chuckles this morning as I catch up on this thread! :D

I didn't think about the poor riders having to hang in the 'hung up bus' after the stage....that is pathetic. The "fishbowl" ---priceless...
good thing they get paid pretty well.

Cant' imagine Jens wants one more year of RSNT.

Then hog's post about Johan blabbering on about a 'podium' when Frank had abandoned :D....Frank must have been steaming and here is Johan talking about it's 'only a shoulder' and he can "still pedal" even though injured...Gawd you're right..

You can not make this stuff up.

It's true I couldn't make this stuff up. RSNT have out done my own comedic wishes! They should turn this into a stage play.

I'm going to speculate a coup at RSNT before the Tour. I think Andersen got Frank out as the Hog arrived. I expect to see Bruyneel kicked out in a late night siege around Dauphine time. I'd say the riders will strike saying they won't ride until Hog is gone. The guy is toxic toxic.

Bruyneel was fairly weak when it came to Armstrong.

Floyd had detailed this in the Kimmidge interview in regards to the "Simeoni incident".

- Landis told Kimmage that he was “extremely upset” by Armstrong’s victimization of Simeoni. He also claimed he had told US Postal Service directeur sportif Johan Bruyneel during that 18th stage that Armstrong looked “like an idiot”. -

However Bruyneel couldn't control Armstrong. Lance was team captain, owner and manager. He called the shots - he arranged the drugs, the program for the team.

Hopefully JB gave the Feds an accurate picture of who was ordering the drugs and how. My understanding was Armstrong was always the link to Ferrari not JB.

(linked quote: http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/simeoni-welcomes-landis-account-of-2004-tour-de-france)

Lance maintained he was only an employee.

Go do some research before making posts or it will be obvious you are trolling.

Their is a search tool and you can be guaranteed it has all been discussed in here previously.

US attorney's are bought and sold on a daily basis ;)

There is no utility in quoting Benotti or asking it any questions. It attacks and does not discuss.

One U.S. Attorney dropped an investigation concerning Tailwind, et. al. He explicitly did not speak for the other U.S. Attorneys.

We know, pretty much for sure, that another U.S. Attorney is conducting a bike-related investigation because Floyd has admitted to receiving a target letter.

If Bruyneel really did get served with a federal subpoena, then there is good reason to suspect that there is another investigation going on out there. Nothing is solid, for sure, but it is fun to discuss.

It is fun! I just can't believe that there are people still in doubt about Armstrong's guilt, even the US atty's..

I wonder why people believe Armstrong's disinformation. Do you have any idea?

I don't think any people here doubt that the whole Tailwind setup was a big organized doping setup.

As for the others, faith, trust and ignorance are powerful forces. I don't use ignorance in a pejorative sense--most of the world is ignorant about the details of professional bike racing.

Toxic team.

Bruyneel: "Surprised and very disappointed"

Here a radio interview in French with Bruyneel.

"This morning at breakfast I could already see that his morale was not very high (...) but I had the impression that his physical condition was good enough to stay with the best, and I repeat: the withdrawal was a surprise to me."

Do you think he did it to prepare better for the Tour de France?

"Listen ... I hope not. In any case it was not the team's objective that Fränk come to the Giro to prepare the Tour, not at all even."

Do you plan with him for the Tour?

"He will now do the Tour of Luxembourg and the Tour de Suisse, after that we see"

http://sport.rtl.lu/cyclissem/news/248245.html

Also says he did not think the injury was as bad as to force him to abandon

Its pathetic.

Only this morning Johan was saying he could podium and then Frank does this. Does Johan have any authority over these Schlecks? I wonder because if he does he should ditch Frank from the Tour. No doubts. I think RSNT will get a rude awakening at the Tour especially the Schlecks. This team is going down the drain.

It's hilarious. Basically, the Schelecks sought out Bruyneel to lead them and now they are blowing him off.

It was Trek involving Schlecks and Bruyneel.
Im pretty sure they would have kept going their way but their team was without a sponsor and Bruyneel without a license (at the end of the year).

Anyway we're OT.

If Johann leaves Franck off the Tour squad, there's no way Andy will ride without him. No doubts.

Which is not too surprising.

I think Andy started partying the moment the TdF course was announced. All that TT distance means no way for AS.

The good news is he's still taking Becca's money. Or RadioShack... Whatever:D

The Shlecks are like teenage lovers. Their parents try to split them up and separate them. But somehow they run away to find each other.

In this case I'm not sure we can blame them. The minute Hog arrives at the Giro Frank bails. I think it says more about Bruyneel's standing in the sport than the Shlecks.

I still say a coup before the Tour with Kim Andersen taking over as DS.

I would think that the Shlecks have been advised to stay away as Hog still in a lot of trouble in a few countries. When the *** come down they don't want to be associated with him or Lance.

Bruyneel gets inspiration from Saiz

Some old habits never die. Bruyneel was inspired by his old ONCE boss Manual Saiz on April 24th to retweet this great phrase.

Los enemigos realmente no te odian, se odian a ellos mismos porque tú eres el reflejo de todo lo que ellos quisieran ser

BABELFISH says its;
The enemies really do not hate to you, hate they themselves because you are the reflection of everything what they wanted to be

Bruyneel still learning from that great model of modern cycling Saiz.
