Oh please. So the American way is to lie and cheat as long as you're not busted, that way you never have to confess? You're focused only on criminal procedure. Most people actually do give passing thought to ethics and morality in their lives.

The separate Floyd investigation probably spun-out of the Lance investigation. As facts were uncovered, they probably called the prosecutor in San Diego to see where it went. Meanwhile, they kept-up their work investigating the Lance stuff. But it went somewhere. And that probably killed the case up in Los Angeles, as Floyd was likely a star witness in the Lance case.

They probably found lots of stuff against Lance, and were really ****ed at having to let him get away. Hence Floyd finds himself facing charges that he was already admitting to. Immunity went bye-bye.

'UnAmerican' - when the American legal system relies on plea bargains and confessions aplenty, I find that rather amusing.

Well, I will admit I was wrong. Partly wrong technically.

Uptread I predicted that Bruyneel would not even make it to the start of the Amgen Tour of California. Find some excuse not to come. But I also predicted that he would not make it to the end, and if he did he would be thrown under a bus on his way back to the airport. So technically, I still have a shot to be able to say "told you so" squish squish;)

Lance has already stated he was "just another rider" on the team. Appears the master tactician was also the king pin the Feds were looking for. Lance might have done a deal and sold the Hog in. If Bruyneel was the supplier and orchestrator of the drugs through Europe they might have got their man.

I have my fingers crossed that Johan didn't ship drugs to the United States. That would be bad.

Bruyneel wasn't with RadioShack riders as they departed from their team bus Sunday morning just before the start of the eight-day tour that ends next weekend in Los Angeles. He is expected to be with the team Monday for Stage 2 from San Francisco to Aptos.

The cycling news outlets reported this weekend that Lance Armstrong's former team director was greeted by federal agents when entering the country. Martens said the former pro racer arrived Friday.

Bruyneel was Armstrong's manager during his record seven Tour de France victories as well as Alberto Contador's 2007 title. He was the target of an investigation in 2010 by the Belgian cycling federation after being accused by Floyd Landis of playing a role in a systematic drug program for Armstrong's U.S. Postal Service team.

Armstrong and Bruyneel have repeatedly denied the allegations.

I think it's funny that we don't know the nature of the subpoena. He's got to appear in court to give testimony, but we have no idea whether it's in his own defence or to give evidence in a case against someone else.

I'm curious to know who's representing Bruyneel in court- LA's lawyers?:D

BTW - I wrote a while ago that JB might be the key to unveil this mess- and I think is happening:D
