The bald fraud is back (of course he is good but how good is he? Specially compared to Sola). Seriously, I look to Sola riders (and their improvement) and we need to question how good is San Milan. Other thing very important is his commitment (I'm not saying he is not professional, I just think he has other priorities). Sola, Swart are in the most important training camp before the Tour and San Milan is not there.
Sola is currently training 7 riders on UAE:
Pogacar
Covi
Almeida
Yates
Del Toro
Novak
(I don't know who is the other one)

It's very unfortunate to say that he hopes to feel better on Friday or Saturday to win the stage while Del Toro depends on those days to win the Giro.

Ayuso's biggest mistake is always his statements.
He should be better advised.

With Del Toro in this situation, talking about winning a stage is a mistake.

Isn't Majka training under Sola this year as well?

Pogacar gave an interview in early 2024.
When talking about Sola, he thanked him for his personal support, he didn't just talk about him being a good coach.
He said that in 2023 he felt alone after his injury in Liège.
He didn't name names, but it was significant that he said this when talking about his new coach.

He wasn't even talking about it on a training level, but on a personal and psychological level.
He said he discovered who was on his side and who wasn't, and that since Liège, he's been completely abandoned.

There's another thing that strikes me. San Millan uses social media a lot, but he didn't congratulate Pogacar for either the Tour or the Worlds

Sola congratulates all the riders, including Ayuso, whom he doesn't coach.

Even though San Millan is no longer Pogacar's personal coach, it's striking that he doesn't even comment on the team's greatest achievements last year.
If it were someone who was not on social media, but was someone who was very active on it. It would look worse for that reason.

Did he say that? If so, how can some people say he is a victim of Pogacar fans?

The idea that he's a victim of Pogacar is absurd.

Pogacar hasn't done anything to Ayuso.
Some people confuse what some fans are saying with Pogacar. Pogacar isn't his fans; he's an independent person, and he's always spoken well of Ayuso.

Furthermore, the whole thing about Pogacar fans hating Ayuso has taken a turn.
Many Pogacar haters are fans of Ayuso, and that's really sad. They don't even support Ayuso because they like Ayuso, but because they hate another rider.

The LR thing is obvious. They started a pro-Ayuso campaign while being part of Visma. One of their collaborators even said he should be UAE leader in the 2024 Tour. And by fabricating data, claiming that Ayuso moved more watts than Pogacar. Something we've never seen.
We have collaborators from the rival team giving those opinions, trying to destabilize the leader of the rival team while having interests in Visma, but some people are worried about what anonymous fans say.

I don't even want to think about what would be said if LR were working in the UAE and insinuated that Roglic was a bully who was harming Vingegaard and that they were campaigning for who should be the Visma leader.

So true.

Thank you!!! That was far more detailed than what Brunyel said. And quite a horrible condition to be in. Infected stiched wounds are no joke. And on your knee on a bike for crying out loud!!! If anyone bullies him for it they should try it themselves.

It's not that hard to imagine that kind of pain if just using even the slightest bit of cognitive empathy.

I'm seeing Ayuso in a completely new light very much like people hated on Remco. They're just a tad more honest in their ambitions, a little less cookie cutter in interviews, a tad less hard to provoke. So they differ because they can't put on a show simply to please media and fans.

It should be called "having slightly more integrity".

One eye-uso credit, or blame, to Orla Chernaoui

I'm suprised he's been allowed to continue, if I remember correctly Jonathan Vaughters had to abandon the TDF for the same thing.
