The bald fraud is back (of course he is good but how good is he? Specially compared to Sola). Seriously, I look to Sola riders (and their improvement) and we need to question how good is San Milan. Other thing very important is his commitment (I'm not saying he is not professional, I just think he has other priorities). Sola, Swart are in the most important training camp before the Tour and San Milan is not there.![]()

Sola is currently training 7 riders on UAE:
Pogacar
Covi
Almeida
Yates
Del Toro
Novak
(I don't know who is the other one)

Did he say that? If so, how can some people say he is a victim of Pogacar fans? It's very unfortunate to say that he hopes to feel better on Friday or Saturday to win the stage while Del Toro depends on those days to win the Giro.
Ayuso's biggest mistake is always his statements.
He should be better advised.
With Del Toro in this situation, talking about winning a stage is a mistake.
I don't know.Isn't Majka training under Sola this year as well?
The idea that he's a victim of Pogacar is absurd.Did he say that? If so, how can some people say he is a victim of Pogacar fans?
So true. The idea that he's a victim of Pogacar is absurd.
Pogacar hasn't done anything to Ayuso.
Some people confuse what some fans are saying with Pogacar. Pogacar isn't his fans; he's an independent person, and he's always spoken well of Ayuso.
Furthermore, the whole thing about Pogacar fans hating Ayuso has taken a turn.
Many Pogacar haters are fans of Ayuso, and that's really sad. They don't even support Ayuso because they like Ayuso, but because they hate another rider.
The LR thing is obvious. They started a pro-Ayuso campaign while being part of Visma. One of their collaborators even said he should be UAE leader in the 2024 Tour. And by fabricating data, claiming that Ayuso moved more watts than Pogacar. Something we've never seen.
We have collaborators from the rival team giving those opinions, trying to destabilize the leader of the rival team while having interests in Visma, but some people are worried about what anonymous fans say.
I don't even want to think about what would be said if LR were working in the UAE and insinuated that Roglic was a bully who was harming Vingegaard and that they were campaigning for who should be the Visma leader.
I hope so too but you never know with the ego has.Best thing he could do to shut up his detractors is to stay in the race and help Del Toro win the Giro.
Stop making sense. Some people don't let hard facts get in the way of their narrative.I can't believe a stitched up knee on a bike for 200 kilometer a day, partly in horrible rain isn't seen as a valid reason to "fail".

Mayo said everything. If he stays in the race and help Del Toro, he will shut down all the criticism around him.Best thing he could do to shut up his detractors is to stay in the race and help Del Toro win the Giro.
Thank you!!! That was far more detailed than what Brunyel said. And quite a horrible condition to be in. Infected stiched wounds are no joke. And on your knee on a bike for crying out loud!!! If anyone bullies him for it they should try it themselves.![]()

He will start but his face looked terrible. He's been stung by a bee as well so he might go home (he has a swollen eye): https://www.wielerflits.nl/nieuws/b...-juan-ayuso-twijfelen-over-voortzetting-giro/
Health comes first. He shouldn't care what people say he should do here just to prove a point to his detractors.

For crying out loud he's just left in this race cause people hate on him. Everyone else no one would complain if he'd DNS!Holy hell you're right. It's like he's not Juan Ayuso.

Honestly that looks like it could cause vision problems in his right eye.
One eye-uso credit, or blame, to Orla Chernaoui

If he saves Del Toro's jersey on saturday we're writing a movie about this Giro with @Peyroteo94 playing the hero Juan Ayuso. This is exactly what he needs, his PR guys couldn't've written it better, maybe if he had a bloody bandage around his head like Terry Butcher.
