Also explains why some of the better climbers on the US domestic scene went awol and resurfaced in the amateur ranks in Spain. How Alex Hoehn didn't get a ride for 2022 is beyond me, he was literally the most memorable guy on Wildlife Generation and managed , and Keegan Swirbul has just signed with Efapel after starting out the season on a Galician amateur team. Yes, the Langkawi podium and Utah top 10 from 2019 are a long time ago, but the guy is demonstrably better than the amateur ranks.
Tbf, this Efapel led by Azevedo has nothing to do with the thermonuclearglowers of the former Efapel, now Glassdrive.
I don't follow much of my domestic scene but the results I catch from them sound normal for the ability their riders have.
So Mareczko is doing the Tour de Bretagne with the Alpecin with the Alpecin development team for some reason, so far there have been two near-full bunch sprints and two slightly more selective stages. Closest he's finished to the winner on any of them: over six minutes down. Never change, Jakub.

Their neopro Tercero also finished inside the stage top 10, he's one to watch for the future. Last year he was 5th on Fauniera in the Baby Giro. With him, Piganzoli, Fancellu and Raccani they have some good youngsters, most of them coming from their developmental team.
I think it would have been better for them to acquire a rider called Primero instead of Tercero.
It is a third rate team, so they prolly can't sign prime talents like that.
Ordinal numbers as names is just weird... Or very royal.
Yesterday I came across a pair of Belgian twins called Niels and Bjarne Trio. Unless there's a third child, I bet the parents left the hospital rather disappointed.

Yesterday in Belgium they had Leiedal Koerse, a pro criterium, with a more than decent line-up.
