Traditionally the biggest Irish talents head off to French amateur teams, and nowadays An Post provide a second route. I think he's the first to try signing for one of the British Conti outfits.

Sinkeldam rode there last year, and found out he was a sprinter. It didn't hurt him. I highly doubt any of those riders actually wanted to race. Hopefully it won't affect them too much next year.
