This is where it always goes. I wonder if you have photos of an jet fitted with a low end interior that would be more suitable. So if the math works out and Armstrong can fly to 4 or 5 places on a private/charter and raise mounds of cash, he should wait for Jet Blue or South West instead to maintain humility in your eyes?
I am glad that the livestrong charities are in place, not only for the people they help but also the people they employ. If showing photos of what you consider to be posh planes and offices is telling to Lance's guilt the outcome of the US legal system is going to crush you

Stop with the dramatic comparisons to budget airlines......

If only it was 4 - 5 times per year. And nice try with South West. Im sure First Class is just a little cheaper than going Lear but you know this is a non-profit after all and you have to arrive in style on someone else's dime. Especially when you need to get to Valencia to do a blood extraction.

Go the 1%'ers!

better than flying ryanair i guess.

Makes me want to puke.

Sometimes flying makes me want to puke as well, but that is usually after a bunch of drinking. Is there anything inherent about Ryanair that makes you want to puke more than normal?

If flaunting conspicuous consumption is acceptable to LA and his flock why is he attempting to covertly dispose of this "man toy" by not revealing ownership and registration number in the advertising?

Personal jets are extremely expensive to maintain. I would speculate that the very costly upgrade in 2009 was assisted in funding by his Tour Down Under fee of $2-3m that he pledged, but broke that promise, in his comeback 2.0 to donate to Livestrong.

My 1st thought when reading about all the upgrades is that is when the plan to sell this was conceived by whoever owns this. I don't know what constitutes a lot of hours for this type of vehicle, but it seemed to be pretty heavily used judging by the figures listed to my totally inexperienced first impression.

If you're going to command top dollar, you need to get curb appeal, they completely repainted it and refurbished its interior. If it is his, he probably knew the gravy train was going to slow down or already was slowing so time to put no longer essential assets up for sale.

Whatever & Regardless of whomever this belongs to... I still hope he gets completely exposed for the fraud and liar he is.

No it sickens me that while telling everyone how much money he was raising for cancer, and getting millions of pounds in appearance fees he was also travelling in such oppulent luxury, gold fixtures and fittings, walnut tables etc, the kind of trappings you would expect from the sultan of bruniel.. its sickening to look at..

My guess is, that a lot of people who have donated to Livestrong over the years would have thought twice had they seen these photos.

Elmer Gantry? Robert Tilton? Benny Hinn? Ted Haggard? Jimmy Swaggart?

I think that the corrupt preacher analogy (previously suggested) is apt. The self-aggrandizing preacher appears invulnerable in the face of repeated attacks (but he's not). Slowly, the true believers realize that the preacher's mission is only to serve himself. Their disaffection fuels further dissatisfaction. The endgame appears to happen really fast, as the disaffected core believers share their stories to the media and the media (which loves a firestorm) plays up the story even more.

Later, of course, there is the penitential appearance on Oprah. And maybe an appearance on Wife-Swap with Ted Haggard's family. Celebrity Apprentice, perhaps?

Lance is trying to fool all of the people all of the time, like a preacher chasing the almighty Dollar. Sooner or later people figure out what's going on.

This aircraft has had three former registration numbers. The current registration number, the personalized N7LA, came in October 2009.

The Livestrong livery paint job occurred in December 2009 with the internal refurbishment

Engs Hard Time & on RR Corp. Care, APU on MSP, Dual NZ2000 FMS w/5.2, Honeywell EO-200 HUD, Triple Laseref II IRS, Compl. int. refurb & new paint 12/09, Gulfstream Appleton

Don't think a previous owner would throw in a paint job. Or an expensive Head Up Display (HUD).

Armstrong's own "private jets" go way back. Referred to in 2005 & 2006.

Maybe the colors are making you puke?
Baby **** Brown?
Not the Soothing Blue Backlighting of the Team Sky Posh Bus?
Or maybe it is the cramped space compared to the Corporate Sky Mega Jet?

While they may actively promote the myth there is no indication that the foundation pays for Armstrong jet or legal fees.

Wait.

You have been saying for years now that Livestrong pays for Lance's JetFuel and Lance's Lawyers. "Jetfuel" is a running joke around here thanks to you. Ha ha.

Geez, how about Hookers and Blow financed by Livestrong.
Don't tell me that is BS too.

Polish, I would wait until the fat lady sings.

What Livestrong is justifying to Outside Magazine about travel expenses does not reconcile with the 2009 financial statements.

Livestrong claim that 20% of their total program expenditure related to travel costs for bringing parties together in Dublin in August 2009. Not so per the accounts.

The 2010 IRS Form 990 and the 2010 audited financial statements do not reconcile together on travel costs disclosing a substantial discrepancy.

There is a huge amount of $832,621 in the Form 990 for "non staff travel" that is not apportioned between the usual and expected tickets, accommodation, meals, car reimbursement, etc.

What other categories of travel exist? Charter fees to Mellow Johnny's Aviation LLC?

Wait for the IRS findings.

But presumably, since it's owned by Mellow Johnnie's Aviation (LA nickname), then the foundation have to pay every time one of their executives 'has' to use it to go to a meeting in a far off country, maybe such as the Bahamas, France, Mexico, or Australia.

http://www.foxsports.com.au/other-s...-tour-down-under/story-e6frf56c-1225917649645

"Mellow Johnny's Aviation" touched down in Adelaide for the first time on Wednesday, bringing its much-anticipated passenger.

Seven-time Tour de France champion Lance Armstrong arrived with his partner Anna Hansen and their seven-month-old son Max ahead of next week's Tour Down Under.

Mellow Johnny is one of Armstrong's nicknames and it is a take on maillot jaune, which is French for yellow jersey - the Tour de France famous leader's jersey.

Armstrong and his entourage flew into Adelaide on his private jet and the Mellow Johnny's Aviation logo was visible inside the plane door.

He also has the Mellow Johnny's bike shop in his home city of Austin, Texas.
<snip>
Armstrong has three other children by his ex-wife Kristin - Luke and twins Grace and Isabelle - but they are in school and so did not make the trip.

He noted Max has already seen plenty of the world.

"He has the Bahamas, France, Mexico and now he has Australia (on his passport)- he's only seven months old,'' Armstrong said.

I love the colo(u)r scheme of the Mellow Johnnie's Bike Shop website. Very classy.

http://www.mellowjohnnys.com/

Now I'm sure I've seen that colo(u)r scheme somewhere before ...

He might have to sell it because the "Foundation" owned it and the IRS are not happy about his liberal playtime with the funds.
I'm sure he's got enough bucks to have a NetJets timeshare so he won't be rubbing elbows with the unwashed in coach anytime soon.

I wanted to say it to his face...

Funny you mention Netjets

Wonderboy made an appearance at this ride http://pelotonia.org/home/ because he wanted to "Raise Awareness" and stuff........ he also collected a $300,000 appearance fee. $200,000 in cash, $100,00 in Netjets credit.

His first jet was NetJets. He used to do the advertising for them.

Floyd & Tyler always talked about using the jet with Lance to fly for blood extractions etc.

Livestrong money well spent.

To run and own a jet requires "liquid" amounts of money. Armstrong his hardly in the class of Gates or Ellison.

Hanger space alone runs into the hundreds of thousands.

It's going to hard to give up the jet....

Still listed on multiple aircraft sales websites. Google: 1996 Gulfstream iv sp 1286

"1286" being the unique Gulfstream serial number.
