Yep, Bottle wasn't willing to go back to the team car in the Grand Jury room, so his ride is over. Lancypoo doesn't put up with the truth being told by anyone.

And it's probably that the other three didn't have anything compelling to tell the GJ; they probably didn't need any more nails...

This is the quote from the article in question-

"The extension news makes no mention of Levi Leipheimer, who has been racing under Bruyneel for several seasons. Relations are now understood to be tense between himself and Lance Armstrong, who has close ties to Bruyneel."

So Leipheimer's out of a job for next year because he allegedly spoke to the grand jury?

How would Armstrong know what Leipheimer said if the information wasn't leaked to him? Because I'm pretty sure Levi didn't call him as soon as he left the deposition to state exactly what he said about him.

Someone have any info on this?

The only info we have is brain wave activity when some of us use our deductive reasoning skills.

So, the only way LA would know Levi was truthful to the GJ is if it was leaked, or Levi went and blabbed about it? I would imagine when approached or over the course of the past year, the color of the elephant in the room became pretty obvious.

He spoke to USADA and obtained himself immunity in return for information. No doping suspension for Levi in exchange for some choice information about the good ole days.

Thanks for the clarification.

It makes me think about 2009 when Leipheimer was interviewed at the Tour and he was so smug when asked about Contador not following team orders.

I wonder how he feels now about choosing the side he did, hindsight being 20/20 and all.

Based on what Hamilton told 60 minutes, he was granted immunity for his testimony. Likewise, the USADA, working with the Justice Department, most likely has made similar offers to all of Armstrong's former teammates. It seems that Armstrong just doesn't understand, perhaps due to his narcissism, that others will not commit felonies to cover for him. What has also changed is that most, if not all of them by now, no longer owe their living to Armstrong and company. Armstrong is the past and this past has little power over the present, especially in the US justice system. Welcome to the real world Lance.

Nice that so many riders have received imunity.
Tyler Floyd George Levi Etc Etc Etc Blue Train choochoo.
All aboard the immunity train.
Guess who they can thank for their immunities?
Yep, you guessed it, they can all thank Lance.

The Lance Effect pays off benefits again and again:)
I sure hope they have all thanked Lance lol.
Would be the polite thing to do.

While some of the groupies and interns like to pretend this is about doping 12 years ago in France Levi can provide testimony about the last couple years. Also the statue of limitations can be easily set aside if there is evidence of an ongoing effort to conceal the evidence of the crime.

The intimidation of a federal witness who gave grand jury testimony under a grant of immunity can extend the statute of limitations. All together now, say "Cache cache." It's an ongoing effort to conceal a crime. Lance f***ed himself over to an amazing degree. Such a chump.

They can thank the US Attorney for the grants of immunity. How are things today in Fabiani's Pit?

I very much doubt that.
Perhaps some immunity from the Feds but the rules of USADA only allow a reduction in such circumstances, not immunity.

Why would the "groupies" and "interns" pretend this is about doping 12 years ago in France?
That "doping" itself is "pretend" to them.

They are pretending about pretend things huh?
Doubt it.

And the groupies and interns do not need to pretend.
Neither do John and Jane Q Public.

They can all recognize a Witch Hunt and Smear Campaign. And Leaks.

Now this is a truly funny post. It's like reading something Dr. Seuss wrote while on crack.

Nah, it would've rhymed if that was the case

And everything Dr. Seuss wrote appealed to many different intellectual levels at the same time, from simple children being amused to Lit Phds deconstructing the literary significance of the subtle nuances. I am not so sure Polish has the same complex literary skills. I stopped reading his posts a long time ago and am not qualified to give any technical analysis of his writing.

Nah, Seuss was more into 'shrooms and Lysergic...at least that's what I gathered from his art and color choices. ;)
