Nice compact video to inform those who heard of this the first time.

Funny that they end with the notion that multiple TdF runner-up Jan Ulrich might score a few more wins when the Lance trials come to an end.

My take: Jan is too much man to accept those wins. He might say that the jersey and honors can go to the first listed men who claims to have been clean for those tours, and will go through ffederal scrutiny before actually being declared winner. Any takers? I thought so. Shred the jerseys, fans watched the races for 3 weeks on end each, to have no winner even take part.

Ok, this video/big big news is one week old and I already commented Gollum's US trip, but:

You have to understand what they did with Ullrich. It was just another sidekick by Gollum-Seppelt and ARD/ZDF to expose our Jan.
You have to understand that this clip was just part of the "sportschau", and that it/he was commented by the sporschau moderator afterwards, so that really everyone understood the absurdity.
They did it hand in hand - nicely prepared by Gollum Seppelt.

But the greates performance in this "sportschau" was, that those high profile journalists "unmasked" and "detarnished" Max Kraft doing a "low-level-race".

Of course there was no mention of Ullrich doing a "charity ride" for a good case, and for fun.
No mention that Jan was welcomed with open arms by everyone and that they soaked him up.

I mean, they were really very proud for unmasking Max Kraft and kicking him again. :D
This was really another highlight. This is how it goes here.

Am I officially the last person to know about the cyclist Max Kraft? I had to google, and within seconds it all became clear.

I've heard the same about the UCI. Hence McQuaid going off the grid of recent.

Things are better than they used to be but those in the UCI live a good life.

IIRC, Dopey Hein is now higher up the Olympic food chain. If bribery charges hit the fan involving him while at the UCI, one has to contemplate what the IOC will do with him.

There is probably a reason that German films are not more widespread. This is another example, shot and shot of big buildings, I guess to show the power of institution. Dark music in the back round. Lots of shots of a non smiling Lance. And as always the same bad math, pictures of convicted dopers and everything leading to Armstrong's guilt by association.

Ullrich is doing fun runs and riding in public class races, Frankie is trying anything and everything . Betsy, still incensed that guilty people get away with things. If anybody knows how to tell a story about how life isn't fair, the German film masters would be my first pick.
Is history already rewritten? Somebody should tell Lance

Thanks for some insight on the cultural background...I am a huge Jan fan so this is a drag that they feel the need to do this. Oh well, freedom of speech I suppose and all. I'm glad to see Ulle enjoying life again, but agree that he would never take a second-hand Tour maillot jaune.

Lance is true film noir material.

The young Belmondo would have made a good Lance. Not certain who I'd have play his mother.

Game, set, match Lance?

I love how the government responded with a sealed response. Just show there are no leaks.

That shows there are no leaks. Maybe Scooter Libby got a job as a bike messenger to make the delivery to Armstrong's legal team

No leaks lately.
No leaks since the motion was filed.
Crickets chirp chirp.

No smears from SI.
No smears from the WSJ.
No smears from 60mins.
No smears from the LATimes.

Floyd did go to Germany on an end run, ok there is that one.
No smear - cavalier. Renegade and steer clear!

But anyway, this is the way a Grand Jury proceeding SHOULD be run.
Playing clean and by the rules.
Cheating sends a bad message.

Geez, a GJ is not like Pro Cycling for crying out loud.

Lance is trying to root out the weasels who have testified to the GJ. He's going to make sure they never get to work in basement bike shops anywhere in the US.

The motion was not filed against the Weasels.
The motion was filed against the Prosecution.

Weasels are allowed to leak.
But not the Prosecution.

Interesting that the FBI investigated leaks in the Barry Bonds trial when it was the Defense doing the leaking.

Why isn't the FBI investigating leaks in the "Lance" case?

Why isn't Lance suing the weasels? You know getting the "truth" out there. Cancer awareness money better spent rather than filling complaints against the Gov.

Because there aren't any?

Didn't we ask you like three weeks ago for a list of these so-called leaks? Or, at the very least, when the most recent pre-motion leak was? If you are so certain none have occurred "after" the filing, you should be able to come up with one that occurred "before" as well.

If memory serves me, you couldn't do it (well, actually you tried to ignore it in favor of unicorns and rainbows).

Your whole shtick is ridiculous. You prattle on about how effective Armstrong's lame motion was in stemming the flow of so-called prosecutorial leaks, but you can't provide one iota of evidence that any existed BEFORE the motion was filed either.

In your delusionary fantasy world, any information which furthers the adverse image of your hero is considered a "smear". In the real world, we call them "facts". Reputable news agencies (rather than third grade web sites like facts4lance.com) tend to report these facts.

When said reputable news agencies don't have any additional facts to report, they tend not to make stuff up: No new news = no additional reporting ("smears" in your lexicon).

It's really a quite simple formula.

I await a direct, on-topic response to this with baited breath.
