Not necessarily wrong, but he did less things of pure awesomeness like MvdP and especially Vermeersch did. What on earth Corbrelli did wrong (now or ever before) in the eyes of some people to call him a disappointing winner?
In fairness to Sonny, once they caught Moscon he got on the front and drilled it. It was just the previous 240kms you’d have a problem with…Sonny is going to Gerrans this
Wasn't the faceplant someone else?Laporte 6th despite having no brakes and doing an epic faceplant
VDP's eagerness to work got him on the podium but cost him the win, whereas Colbrelli gambled and won after being very close to costing them both a chance at the win.

If you watched the whole race, that is.
what are you on about, colbrelli attacked as the first of the main guys...it was MVDP chasing himIn fairness to Sonny, once they caught Moscon he got on the front and drilled it. It was just the previous 240kms you’d have a problem with…
Fair pointColbrelli has always been godlike in bad weather and better on the climbs that are a few min long than the really short ramps, so him being good at this kind of efforts makes sense.
- Rides his first Paris Roubaix at the age of 31.
- Wins the whole thing.
The guy attacked with 90kms to go, you can't blame him for riding smart later on.
Who can listen to that crying and hate I how he won
Yep. Exactly the reason I would have liked to see him pull through more often and longer but that's not on him and it certainly paid off. Honestly I was surprised Mathieu didn't insist on him coming through in that long period when they were chasing before they caught Vermeersch. And you could see Sonny follow some of MVDPs accelerations with the look of ease on the bike. He looked strong all day.

Said it with absolute Tongue in cheek. No one had a free ride today simple as thatIn fairness to Sonny, once they caught Moscon he got on the front and drilled it. It was just the previous 240kms you’d have a problem with…
