Easy, they don't want to burn him out. As incredible as Sagan is, he's still only 22.Afrank said:Just noticed steephill has Juraj Sagan but not Peter. Don't know why they would do that? After his performance in flanders I would have thought he would be their leader for Roubaix.

I don't think riding Paris Roubaix would burn Peter out. It's not like it the tour or giro. Though with Gilbert off form, Peter has to be looking good for the Ardennes, maybe saving him for that.

2. Sagan
3. Pozzato
4. GVA
5. Ballan
Without Canc it's hard to see past Boonen, as long as he stays with the front group and doesn't have any bad luck in the final kilometers he will take the sprint. If it weren't for the crash at flanders Sagan would probably have been in the Boonen group so I think he can manage to podium.
auscyclefan94 said:Ballan. Cancellara is no longer racing and Thor is not going very well. He is much stronger than last year and I feel he will be able to get rid of Boonen and the others on the Cobbles to victory with his very strong form.
Ballan
Boonen
Pozzato
Flecha

Caruut said:I agree, I definitely think that being on the same team as Cadel will be a deciding factor this time around.
karlboss said:GVA is definitely more suited to the more hilly classics, he may well find himself with the captaincy on recent form.
Ballan is looking good, but with roubaix being a flatter I can't see Ballan going away from Boonen 1 on 1. Maybe working with Pozzato. Those 3 really were head and shoulders in Flanders.
