At the end of the day, the Schlecks lost the tour because they were too coward to attack in the Pyrinees. If they had had the courage then, they would be on the two top steps now.

Watching the highlights last night, Cadel Evans and Andy Schleck were shown riding the same corner. Evans went into the corner hard, barely clearing the wall. Schleck was much slower through the same corner. At least some of his time losses were due to his poor bike handling. He needs to spend his off season racing cyclocross and riding single track. And he should race (not ride) any ASO races with important preview stages.

Getting my vision fixed to near perfection was a huge boost for my DHing. I really can't emphasize that enough.

I was surprised - or actually not that much - when Andy Schleck after the time trial told he went deep in the time trial and said he didn't experience that kind of pain in a while. Means it was a relatively unknown experience for him which isn't helping mentally.

Shows his Tour only approach might be flawed after all.

Wrong. They lost it in both TTT & ITT. They are NOT overall skill riders, that's their downfall. Andy's win in the Galibier would have been enough if he had decent TT skills, say like S. Sanchez.

It's not an excuse and it's hardly a surprise. This much is true: he needs to be in better shape for the Tour, especially for the start (as he says). With Bruyneel as his boss it was clear this was going to be their strategy to achieve that ... what did you expect?
