The total P-R recon was 165k. NOT a troll job like the arenberg video hinted at.

I he wins MSR, he will definitely try the last monument. He rode all 58km of cobbles. Could be a bluff but the debut is approaching. If not this year next year is all but a certainty
He might ride it sooner than otherwise.I have a hard time seeing why winning MSR would in anyway influence on trying PR or not.
It's easy, it would give him a chance to win all 5 monuments in the same seasonI have a hard time seeing why winning MSR would in anyway influence on trying PR or not.
Same season seems too hard but he is the best one day racer in the world. If someone can do it, it's him and only him. It's easy, it would give him a chance to win all 5 monuments in the same season
Oh, he is seriously thinking about doing PR.The total P-R recon was 165k. NOT a troll job like the arenberg video hinted at.
Yes but winning AGR+FW+LBL is an incredible feat. Only two men did it. Not even Merckx1 P-R = 6 consecutive FW + Amstels
Because AGR wasn't that big of a race back then, and not even in the same week as FW/LBL.Yes but winning AGR+FW+LBL is an incredible feat. Only two men did it. Not even Merckx
Yes agreed that the calendar shift makes a big difference to this as well as AGR starting in 1966 so right around the start of Merckx career.Because AGR wasn't that big of a race back then, and not even in the same week as FW/LBL.
Valverde got close to win all three at 34yo. Pog doesn't need to hurry to get that goal.Yes but winning AGR+FW+LBL is an incredible feat. Only two men did it. Not even Merckx
Valverde can't be a benchmark to anyone when we talk about age. He was WC at 38 years old and had his best level at 35 years old despite being at his top since 2003/2004Valverde got close to win all three at 34yo. Pog doesn't need to hurry to get that goal.
well u know who i am so...How many times can you say that when you've been registered a total of 1 day?
You've only ever said anything a total of 5 times.
Valverde should have won it multiple times but bizarrely he kept skipping AGR to save himself for FW despite both races suiting him so well and having already won FW many times over.Valverde got close to win all three at 34yo. Pog doesn't need to hurry to get that goal.
well, u have been the one who started the conspiracy conversation and now if u decide to ignore me its a good choice because its about time the goat explodes the world and u dont have to miss itI actually don’t. I don’t know who any of you are. And I don’t want to. I’d put you all on ignore. I need the peace and quiet at the moment. ::dramatic::
What?? He rode AGR probably more than 10 times and he never saved himself for FW. He just wasn't good enough in positioning himself before those hills and AGR is more suited to powerful classic riders (and not climbers) like Gilbert.Valverde should have won it multiple times but bizarrely he kept skipping AGR to save himself for FW despite both races suiting him so well and having already won FW many times over.
He didn't ride it in his last season (EDIT: he got ill in Catalunya, so he has only ever deliberately skipped it once), he rode Castilla y Leon instead in 2016 as he prepared for the Giro, was stopped by a volcano in 2010. Other than that, he rode it every single time he also rode Liège.Valverde should have won it multiple times but bizarrely he kept skipping AGR to save himself for FW despite both races suiting him so well and having already won FW many times over.
