Just get on the old airplane fuel. It'll have you flying in no time.

Everyone with more than two brain cells can see the blatant Stephen Schumacher-like doping except for the Brits who refuse to believe the obvious, so the thread is one long exercise in fanboys trying to convince people black is white, truth is lie, and war is peace. The truly sad cases have convinced themselves that everyone else is crazy.

The same as Frank last year. Not wanting to be there.airstream said:OK, if you are so critical towards anything happening to Wiggins, explain to me how the Tour winner could drop from the pack at 2-3% hill when the peloton was going very slowly if he was healthy?

Cramps said:I asked the same question a while back. The most damning thing imo was that Sky hired Geert Leinders as team doc (in 2011?), despite knowing his history as a doping doctor.
That's a damning fact.

We're unsure, and that's enough to diminish the experience.MaxVO2 said:Great topic, but 2017 pages??? I can't read it all, so what's the executive summary? Thanks.

Retro Trev said:There was some evidence all was not well with Wiggin's preparation before the Giro.
To quote Kerrison,
""His training has been going well and his been building his form and his confidence," Kerrison told Cyclingnews in Italy.
"He came into Trentino a little unsure of his form. Not for the training he'd been doing, but because he was a little unwell before hand. He's 100 per cent now and said he never felt that good on a climb."
"It (the saddle sore) affected his training last week but more on his time trial bike than his road bike. He did a good week of training last week, but had to move a few sessions around. He felt pretty bad due to the antibiotics and the infection coming out, but could still perform."
All the signs were there then that Wiggin's was overtrained and run down. Obviously the scientific numbers approach did not spot the blindingly obvious fact that Wiggins constitution is unable to withstand the amount of training he has been doing and sustain a low body fat percentage that is now proving to be unhealthy.
OnTheDrops said:Walsh even accuses his Irish brother Sean Kelly of doping after hearing a rattling noise from his back pocket before a race. If even he is convinced Sky is clean, then I think we have to accept that they likely are. And even if you think there might have been some program in the past, given they fired anyone remotely connected to doping in the offseason, how the hell are they running it now?
Dear Wiggo said:Walsh publicly declares doubt for Nibali, who was decisively beaten by Wiggins in 2012.
OnTheDrops said:Your point is?
Dear Wiggo said:The likelihood of a clean Wiggins beating a doped Nibali, every race, every stage: 0.
