And why did you bring Lemond into the thread?

That's what the acolytes do. Shift blame and obfuscate.

Start a LeMond thread if you want to talk about LeMond. Happy to engage in that, but it's pointless on this thread.

It was relevant. It was someone else who made it into a big deal. Don't talk about it if you don't want to talk about it.

I'd also ask anyone else who wants to praise me not to do it in the threads. It just help the trolls make the topic about me. Just drop me a PM.

I would guess that you don't come here often because complete sentences apparently pose quite a challenge for you.

Good to see you back - I was surprised to see you didn't respond to my post where I mentioned CRM - which all within the aviation industry are familiar with.

With you being a retired pilot of 30 years experience I find it sad that you now feel the need to use some of the expressions highlighted above.

Wouldnt your comments be more productive in highlighting the inaccuracies of "revolting, pathetic drivel" that posters spew - instead of making personal attacks?

I've been hearing arguments like this for on about a decade now.

I don't know if there's anything to this--but it's being stupid almost seems to make it more likely.

I wonder if people think they can get away with stupid stuff because either:

1- They've been able to get away with it in the past (incompetence on the part of doping control officials).

2- They have paid off somebody higher up, so they know they will be protected (corruption of officials).

Neither scenario looks very good, and after Bordry's complaints about UCI dope testers at the Tour, it seems that both options could be possible.

That's not quite right. WADA prohibits IV's except for medical necessity ..Intravenous infusions are prohibited except in the management of surgical procedures, medical emergencies or clinical investigations."

robotic code reading houstonhammer is misleading.

when was the last time team doctors performed surgical procedures and clinical investigations in their hotel rooms?? let me know and please provide links. ‘medical emergency’ loophole has long been a euphemism for a ‘dehydration IV“ but in reality it's nothing less than an injection of saline sol or a volume expander following a blood transfusion. w/o a medical proof that there was a severe condition the rider will normally be prosecuted. again, that's what coni did to diluca. they only suspected him using an IV on the basis of his steroid profile imbalance while he said it was cause by a lot of drinking by mouth.
Velonews:
Prosecutors said that "suspect medical devices," such as syringes and IV bags

Do you think we'd extradite Wonder Boy to France to face the music?:D

Sure, as soon as the French extradite their child rapist, Polanski to the US. Of course doping in a professional sport is a far more serious offense.

My apologies to you LA haters. The sentence I wrote was "I don't go here often because the I find revolting the pathetic drivel that most of the excellence haters on this forum spew". That was the way it looked to me when I wrote it, but "the" got misplaced somehow when I attempted to add emphasis.

The little tidbit you add to all of your posts.
"The science of Lance Armstrong is pharmacology" is a perfect example of what I was referring to.

I am surprised a properly moderated forum lets you and the rest of the haters get away with this.

You might be taken a little more seriously if you actually point out specific claims that you disagrees with and provide evidence t back up your position.

If all you are going to do is call everyone names then everyone will just think you are some old cranky guy who does not know anything.

Posts in bold from yourself. And you talk about me spewing venom. Different posts are numbered.

(1) Because the only people who give any credence to L2L and the rest of the libellous venom spewed out by Walsh, Ballester, Kimmage and the like are the sordid conspiracy theorists and LA haters who make up this forum. Get a life!!

(2) This is forum mostly made up of sad people who hate excellence, probably because they are not willing or able to work hard enough to achieve it themselves
(3)You, as well as most of your libellous conspiracy theorists who dominate this forum, do not know what you are talking about, as usual
(4) I feel sorry for sordid haters like you who do all of their thinking from a much lower part of their anatomy.
(5) Although it is dominated by libellous conspiracy theorists who hate excellence.
(6) It may surprise you and the rest of the Armstrong haters on this forum.
(7) People who use a combination of half truths, innuendo, and absolute falsehoods to trash anyone who achieves excellence deserve nothing better. I calls them the way I sees them!!!
(8) In order to do that I would have to reprint nearly everything you and the rest of the LA haters have been printing since I had the misfortune to come upon this forum.
(9) but most of them are like me who have better things to do with their time than waste it arguing with people like you who hate excellence and believe everyone who has achieved it is a cheat. I happened on to this forum and was so disgusted that I felt considerably better having told you what I thought of you.

Life hasn't really gone as well as you had hoped me thinks.....

I think the other poster was refering to the period that misteriously took the place of the comma that you must have put between the two parts of your second sentence.
As to what I put on my signature line if you would prefer a heavily censored pro Lance fanboy site let me recommend the RBR forum. I think you would have a much better time over there w@nking with your own kind.

I don't hate exellence. Neither do we "Lance haters". I and so do many other "Lance haters" hate cheats succeding when we know that they have taken a short cut to winning.

Yes indeed. If you support Lance, you could threaten to shoot someone and the mods wouldn't say a thing.
Think Lance is a doper, and you'd get banned for punctuation mistakes.

Exactly. Personally, I'm a huge fan of "excellence" and achievements attained through hard work. What I do "hate" is seeing a promising young cyclist work his *** off for 15 years or so, get to the highest level of the sport, and then have "excellence" snatched from his grasp by someone who has no scruples about injecting anything and everything into his body that will make him go faster. This is the reality that many strong (and "excellent") Cat 1's face: dope or get their asses kicked by dopers.

I am suprised that someone who claims to be a pilot cant stop making personal remarks.
You must have forgotten the basic principles of Crew Resource Management since you have retired as a Pilot:

CRM fosters a climate or culture where the freedom to respectfully question authority is encouraged.

I don't hate people - even LA- I just dislike ignorance.

Python, don't be so thin-skinned. I'm just trying to add a little context to the discussion so we can understand what the French officials might be up to. You wrote that WADA code prohibits the use of any and all IV needles (it doesn't) and that syringes could only be used for medical necessity (their use is permitted for administering any non-prohibited substance with a volume of 50ml or less).

I totally agree that there shouldn't be any valid reason for IV procedures in a hotel room. And you're absolutely right about IV rehydration - that is a punishable 'prohibited method'. If IV equipment is found it raises serious questions. But the articles I read only mentioned syringes being found, which makes me think something else must be up. The question is, what?

The syringes in question were put in bins provided by the Tour organisers for the disposal of medical waste (Google translation)? If that's correct then surely the team wouldn't be stupid enough to dump anything incriminating?

I completely agree.
