Do I have to consider Ganna the favourite for the Giro now?
The limited length of this TT probably suits him well with his track experience. He's up there with the best, but I would put Dennis and Evenepoel above him in a longer TT. Possibly Van Aert also.Ganna is just 24. Best in the world now in time-trialing (flat ones)?
13:22. Some came close but all stayed inside. What's the time limit this ITT lol?
Evenepoel smoked him in the flat part of the San Juan ITT earlier this year. As well as in the Euro TT last year, averaging over 59km/h in the first 10k of the ITT.Ganna is just 24. Best in the world now in time-trialing (flat ones)?
San Juan and Alkmaar were also short. And even at flat intermediates it wasn't close. Ganna takes 18s on Campenaerts... Since the EC ITT, neither of them beat Evenepoel, whatever course. It's short, Ganna is the individual pursuit record holder, he destroyed Dennis by over 2s/min.
No way Evenepoel wins that lol
Only the last couple riders rode in the storm. Ganna had the same conditions as Remco.Wasn't there a storm when Ganna and all the others rode in San Juan while Remco rode in good weather?
Also, it was on regular road bikes so you can't put too much emphasis on those results.
Not in the first (flat) part. They only rode a few minutes apart as well.Wasn't there a storm when Ganna and all the others rode in San Juan while Remco rode in good weather?
Also, it was on regular road bikes so you can't put too much emphasis on those results.
Oh yes, I'm not discounting Remco. It's just that he's out of action right now, so I was thinking of this little window in time of today.Evenepoel smoked him in the flat part of the San Juan ITT earlier this year. As well as in the Euro TT last year, averaging over 59km/h in the first 10k of the ITT.
