I called for DSQ of Bennett the other day, and would call for DSQ of Sagan. He used his shoulder but also his head, and he did so against the cleanest sprinter of the peloton.

WvA could easily have closed the door for Sagan but he is too nice. If this doesn't lead to any fine or DSQ, you convert yet another clean sprinter into a dirty one.

And from WvA's interview, he said a four-letter word and Sagain said the same thing back like he didn't feel any remorse.
Yeah I've changed my mind I'm all for shoulder to shoulder but using your head is different

Sagan is just an arrogant idiot most of times. Good thing more and more realizes that now

Tbf, if someone tells him to f*ck off he's probably going to tell them likewise. I wouldn't necessarily call that a lack of remorse.

What other cases? Let's not pretend this was ever or is considered 'normal' sprinting behaviour.

Im talking about future cases.

You set an example with this one, then consistency about this topic/situations is what needs to happen going forward.

The problem is bigger than one individual.

It is kind of difficult to tell you exactly what future cases there will be. The point is just that the jury lines have to be consistent.

Why wouldn't they? Has this ever gone unpunished before?

"Setting an example" suggests it has, hence my question.

I think if they DQs him it will be the last stage of Sagan on the Tour.

The first DQ was the mistake and they probably just close one eye now to make it draw.

That's the right call. Didn't deserve to be DQed in my opinion. Also, cycling is a bit too tenuous right now for them to kick out one of the biggest stars over a borderline case.

Relegation for the stage is the correct decision, it would have been harsh to DQ from the race, but leading with your head and giving another rider a nudge is not correct.

Well, relegation is good... But something needs to be corrected, nobody wants to get hurt because of those dangerous moves

Good DSQ. Anyone that keeps protecting Sagan clearly has no clue about his riding style and his respect for others.

Edit: with DSQ I mean a relegation.
