Compared to last year Vinge is definitely finding it more difficult to get on Pogi's wheel when he attacks, and looks to be starting to run out of steam. Which is not surprising, just as it wasn't surprising when Pogi eventually cracked last year. It would be great if they could both arrive at the Tour with ideal prep next year but that may be a futile hope, so I find myself just appreciating the fact that we've had a contest these years, as when only one of them is there it would be much less interesting.

Although a GT where Pogi and Remco are the two main contenders will be also interesting in terms of how the bromance goes, I guess
Very impressed with Remco overall.

Look, what you need to do is sit the kids - or is it grandkids by now? - down and teach them about the joys of cycling! Then you'll have a win-win situation:

1. You get to watch cycling.
2. You get some quality time with the family.
Kids really respond to PowerPoint presentations, especially dealing with Lance Armstrong, Vaughters and Peter Sagan, and probably some references to Slovenia.. and income earning potential..

So, turns out that whatever insider knowledge this guy might have, it does not extend to other riders. I'm not even sure I saw Champoussin during the stage.
Unless by "go live" he meant post a video or something...
Was this even a real post by mou? Can’t find it here

Finally the break gets a break. After several failed attempts last week EF gets its stage win with Carapaz. He picked the right moment to attack and was strong enough to make the gap.

Evenepoel's attack was a bit surprising, but it shows that he's not fading in the third week. Girmay is a step closer to green, so it doesn't look like any of the jerseys will change shoulders anymore.

Also, he will never use those injuries as an excuse. He always says that Tadej is better. Jonas is a solid guy.
Agree about Jonas, but not his team. On stage 15 on PdB the team was on the radio saying "we believe he will have problems". That was before Jonas attacked and before Pogacar launched his counter attack which took another minute on GC. Today IMO we are seeing Vingegaard running out of base endurance, but he might prove me wrong on stage 19.

Nice win by Carapaz and great to see Remco riding strongly so deep into the 3rd week. Pogacar shows no signs of Giro fatigue but three big stages left to go and anything can still happen. But after today I think Vingegaard might be fading from lack of base-load conditioning. He would never let a wheel go like that ordinarily.

Kuss and Kruijswijk don't weigh 500 kgs, that'd make them almost the biggest people on Earth!
Imagine how difficult it would be to attack if they were in front of you though. Just find a narrow road and have them slow down as Vingegaard rides away.

I had to promise them we go swimming tomorrow afternoon and children park on Friday to get to watch today, Saturday and Sunday stages last hour or so. Life sometimes isn't fair ;)
As mentioned earlier, sometimes life is a little more than trivialities as working round the clock and kids duties.
In my case, besides the former mentioned, to take care of more close relatives affected by more severe illness, physically as well as mentally without going into further details. Life sometimes strucks, but then hobbies like this fortunately can be a perfect diversion from worries of which nothing can be done during the late hours anyway.
But this evening in my barn just found a bedated monitor + motherboard+CPU with onboard graphics andh DVI output matching the monitor, just finished putting all together in old case for the purpose of flow/slow TV from the corner of my eye tomorrow with @home working day - just hoping for a slightly quieter day :)

So Teddy dropped Vingo two times and gained...whooping 2 seconds! Something was off in case of his first attack: JV had a guy to help Vingo on the descent but no UAE guy was waiting for Pog. A wasted match by Pogacar. Can't wait to the final weekend.
at this time Pog is just playing with Jonas, he can drop him whenever he wants to and will do so in next few days.
