Sure that's true, but there were very sharp corners in the last 400m. Can you imagine a group of 30 riders going through there full speed?Looked like Gall started pedaling too early and his wheel just slipped. Not an ideal final, but IMO that was a mistake by the rider.
There was enough climbing before it to narrow down the group. Still not a great final, but less bad than those whacky technical finishes on sprint stages that you often have in the Tour de Suisse.Sure that's true, but there were very sharp corners in the last 400m. What was all that woofing about?
looks like Gall got the winner's time in the end, so actually gained time on most
It was partially done to deflect blame for the technical finish and partially because he's a local guy high up on the gc...They should also neutralise the gap after Haig then.

official result is out now with Gall at +0:02
Poole (12th in GC) has the youth jersey, btw. Next contender is Riccitello in 20th. Fairly unusual these days to have no young rider up there with the very best.
Does the 3K crash rule apply to mountain stages?
I have to say that he's looking very focused and determined. I wonder if Hindley's Giro win hasn't lit à fire under him, beyond the new coach. Also, Tao's PCS page looks pretty crisp atm. He has been, prolly by far, their best rider this season.

It's 1km I believe for mtf
He's incredible miserable. Like Andy Murray on steroids.I have to say that he's looking very focused and determined. I wonder if Hindley's Giro win hasn't lit à fire under him, beyond the new coach.
But he's still a bit of an odd duck in his interviews.
They often finish in lateral valleys where there are no other roads connecting them to the main valley, so they finish early to prevent complications for all the people who are coming back home from work later. Why in the world does this race finish so early? Dont they watch anyone to watch it or whats going on here?
I can potentially catch a bit of tomorrow and thats it. Garbo, thats what I call it!
Right on time (the comment, not the rider)Tao now the favourite to win the Giro.
Yeah, I was wondering that too. I’m willing to get up at 5:00 to watch Roubaix but not for Tour of the Alps. Replay only for me for this race. Why in the world does this race finish so early? Dont they watch anyone to watch it or whats going on here?
