Samamba may disagree, but I wouldn't say so. Stannard was the smartest, van Gils just by far the strongest. Not too much they could do about it.So UAE got omlooped, with Van Gils as Ian Stannard?

sure, in hindsight they could have tried to keep it together instead of attacking from 50k out, and then potentially make use of numbers in the end, but I honestly don't think it would have increased their chances much. Nor does it sound like a good pre-race tactic to me.Well I disagree with your last sentence yeah cause a race doesn't just exist out of the last 4km.

Entertaining stage. Looked a brutal day with savage steep short climbs winding through the towns and villages.
I was once in Frigiliana during a school trip to Málaga. A quite breathtaking village with not a single non-white house.
With 103 km to go? Nah, he aint no Pogi!Holy mother
Enric Mas attack
PCS reported that with 47 km to go, Mas changed bikes, so I'd assume he took it easy afterwards or he got a cr*p bike! It's time for Mas. How is he already 7 minutes down after yesterday?
