Thomas also finished 3 minutes down I doubt he was still there when they picked up the breakawayThis is a race with radios. When there are no radios that might be excusable, especially on a final climb where there isn't the opportunity for the team car to give that info it's one thing, but when you can just check that with the DS, falling for that trick reflects poorly on the victim more than the perpetrator.
Please spare us from such accountant's logic riding. That they were dominant in the lead group and they didn't try anything with their two main riders tells me that said riders actually couldn't do much more.No reason for Jumbo to do anything near the finish. They knew they were going into the Red jersey and they had Roglic for the sprint. Another tidy day's work.
He was mad at Klaas Lodewyck.OK, plot twist.
Remco thought there were riders up the road. He thought he wasn't sprinting for the win...!
You also see him saying something (cursing?) the moment he comes over the finish when Roglic starts celebrating.
Vingegaard isn't in great form, that much is clear, and for Roglic it made sense to wait for the sprint. So the only one left to attack was Kuss, and he did. Please spare us from such accountant's logic riding. You are a Pog and Merx hater.no world tour in merckx time. lol. and about 4 ITTs for every GT and a TT in every week-long race.
haters always want to shift the goalposts when confronted with unpleasant facts.
haters were in awe when pog hit 50 early this season at age 24+.
haters cannot stomach remco bettering him now (despite losing an entire year of potential wins!)
bwahahaha.
He soft-pedalled. Whoever he is. I just observe and watch a race. The Remco boy crush is strong in this one.

Lodewyck was probably busy telling everyone their plan for tomorrowHe was mad at Klaas Lodewyck.
"You gotta tell me this, Klaas".
It's starting to become a bit laughable, all these excuses when Remco doesn't win. It's okay, he's not Superman (and I don't mean Lopez). It seems like he has to justify every loss to himself and his fans go along with this.He soft-pedalled. Whoever he is. I just observe and watch a race.
Maybe you should try as well.
Get used to commentators talking about his post-race interview tomorrow, the whole day. It will hurt your ears probably.
So you are saying Remco is lying? It's starting to become a bit laughable, all these excuses when Remco doesn't win. It's okay, he's not Superman (and I don't mean Lopez). It seems like he has to justify every loss to himself and his fans go along with this.
You win some, you lose some. Grow up.

I thought samhocking was referring to Thomas having said that this is something Jumbo/Rogla have done before rather than that they did it today, since there were still riders off the front, if only Costa and Lazkano and they were soon to be brought back, when the cameras picked up the stragglers and Thomas was already struggling to hang on then.Thomas also finished 3 minutes down I doubt he was still there when they picked up the breakaway
I don't know if he's lying, it doesn't matter. Why not just try to beat Roglic just to be sure, if you're so easy on his wheel? So you are saying Remco is lying?
Why would you try to beat someone if there’s nothing to gain? He went for the wheel because he didn’t want to lose timeI don't know if he's lying, it doesn't matter. Why not just try to beat Roglic just to be sure, if you're so easy on his wheel?
There's bonus seconds to gain, even if there's someone ahead. He sprints for them in the middle of a stage so why not at the finish line. Why would you try to beat someone if there’s nothing to gain? He went for the wheel because he didn’t want to lose time
Ayuso was also there.Everyone bar Roglic and Vinge were dropped and looked bad with Evenepoel setting the pace.

he thought there were more than enough riders still up the road so he didn't think there were bonus seconds. There's bonus seconds to gain, even if there's someone ahead. He sprints for them in the middle of a stage so why not at the finish line.
Remco fans are f*cking insufferable jesus christ. he lost, get over it.
They are the worst. Even if you like the guy, you start to hate him. All this bla bla bla after every god damn stage he doesn't win is terrible.Remco fans are f*cking insufferable jesus christ. he lost, get over it.

But that's just dumb. They don't pass anyone for the entirety of the climb, but somehow there's at least 3 guys still in front?um...that is precisely what is being discussed. he did not sprint because he thought all bonuses were gone, so literally no point.
doesn't excuse the error tho.
