Error in Tour de San Luis start list:

6 Adrian Hegyvary (USA) Team Saxo Bank

Nope - rides for UHC as 136 according to this, but is not listed on CN.

I think he should be replaced with Troels Vinther

7 Christer Jensen (Nor) Team Saxo Bank

That would be Christopher Juul-Jensen, from Denmark.

Here's a link to the start list:

And this is an article (in Danish) which reveals why I think it should be those guys I have mentioned.

When did Shummy grow hair, that would warrant its own headline, or you listed the wrong name.

Yes, obviously, someone was thinking of Formula One when they wrote the headline.

Although it reminds me of the ad for the men's shampoo with caffiene: "Doping for the hair"!

Perhaps you didn't read the story as well as you might have?

Ok, here's another one... I have to admit I skip randomly through an article without reading every word :) but I can't find any source attributions in the article "McEwen comfortable with changing role at GreenEdge"

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/mcewen-comfortable-with-changing-role-at-greenedge

I read it and just wondered who he spoke to, when, if it was someone on the CN staff, if it's from an interview for another source... Just curious. Just want to know. :) Please don't get me wrong! It's just curiousity! Not criticism...

I guess I'm more curious about your acccess to riders than anything else... Are you at liberty to share about the McEwen piece? I don't mean to imply anything is shady, really :) It just seems refreshing to know if you have direct access to McEwen :) I can't imagine there's anything that has to be concealed, I mean, it sounds like a straightforward talk between McEwen and a reporter... Maybe I'm just old school and keep thinking of Time magazine articles and AP pieces that always end with "Wriitten by X and Y with contributions from Z"... I don't mean to imply you're shady... stealing :)... I'm just curious whenever source attributions are missing... Maybe I expect too much, but... hey, I like your stories and just want to know.... Let me know about McEwen piece if you can... :)

missing palmares

I note that Mark Cavendish has an extensive list of achievements appended to his name...at the bottom of articles under the line "Related riders".

Unfortunately it appears that riders of the ilk of Boonen, Ullrich, Evans have not received the same attention...surely these and all riders for that matter deserve appropriate recognition of their major sporting results.

I know this is being picky but on the subheading for each race there is link for photos. A few days before the race occurs you click on it and you might get some interesting pre race photos or something, but 90% of the time it just says "Nothing to see here, try coming back later" or something.:(
Well i find it a real drag to be confronted with this message, just when I want to find out if any photos have been posted yet. So how about making the link unclickable or remove it all together until there is actually something present inside of it. Closely related to this is the "view thumbnail gallery" in some race reports. You go to the trouble of expanding the new page only to find there was only one picture in there anyway any you already saw it.
I dont know much about website design myself, but I dont notice any other sites which have such persistent defects in their design. Maybe its time to hire a more competent web design person?
.. Just my 2 cents, thanks for reading

Luke Durbridge article: double negatives???

One too many "not"s makes for knotty reading.

While the track program at the London Olympic Games is now off Durbridge's agenda, he does not feel a spot on the Australian road team is not out of reach.

Maybe delete the first (...or second) not.

http://www.cyclingnews.com/news/100th-career-win-for-boonen-at-paris-nice

Boonen's other victories include a world road race title from 2005, three wins in Paris-Nice, two in Tour of Flanders, two in Gent-Wevelgem, six stages of the Tour de France and one green jersey (2007) and two stages of the Vuelta a España.

if you are mentioning his other wins... perhaps the Paris-Roubaix ones might be considered fairly significant ones. :)
