Well good for you, hopefully you can get better again. Any plans/ideas work wise when you are fit to work again?
dunno.. at the moment having my first christmas off for fifteen years, then look at things in january and see how i feel..
healthwise, ten days into a blitz of vitamins, minerals and amino acids and its amazing the difference its made.. (seriously anyone got any issues ask me what im on.. im not 100% but im a hell of a lot better in a very short period of time) so if it carries on like this by january could be fit and well..
then i think a career change, at least for a year or two, something a little more relaxing, less pressure and take it easy for a while.. dont know what, one advantage of being redundant but also technically ill is i get all sorts of assistance in courses, support etc, which i plan on using to the max, and now that im government sick supported when i return to work i get extra mooney so i can afford to take a lower paid but maybe less mentally taxing job.. ive been in management for 15 years now.. i need a break..
ideal world
december off with the wife for the first time ever
give up smoking by 24th to go with the caffeeine and alcohol ive already given up
the vitamins and stuff continue to do their job and in january i feel great
spend january and february on the new bike putting in some serious mileage while attending various work/career courses
and then march when the weather is better and i am well finding a nice outdoor job for a year or two..
thats the optimistic plan..
i do feel kinda guilty.. ive worked all my life and hate people who cant be bothered to work or something, and i feel kinda bad sitting here saying, im gonna take december off, ride the bike over january and february whilst doing some courses, but F*** it.. sometimes you gotta look after yourself.. no point me rushing back now, and in two weeks time being back where i was six months ago..
