Pretty impressive for such a small guy. I suppose that's what a good engine and an aerodynamic position can do for you.

well he has a horrible aerodynamic position in the bike but in itt they clearly worked a lot on it. because his itt's used to be very ugly to watch. for a small guy is much easier to change and improve itt. the positioins changes are less big and the body being smaller is automatically easier to get in good position.

To be fair that wasnt a flat itt. But he indeed did improve, he was also 50th in this years Tirreno ITT (not that 50th is great but not to bad for Pozzovivo, just 1 place and second behind Evans :p).
I really hope he can start the mountains without any damage (illness or crashes, and if possible even without time losses but that might be to much to ask) and shows the world what he is capable of!

Dont know about Settimana but the field there wasnt great, Castilla y Leon was not totally flat, it started with some narrow roads which were pretty steep, the last part also was steep uphill. The middle part was a bigger road which which went up and down a little but not really heavy. The time trial was not super difficult but most certainly not totally flat.

Its phinney time:D
Something I just learned from the Giro presentation is that Taylor speaks some Italian.
He was interviewed from his bike, by Rai.

Anyone have a weather forecast?

I count 16 corners not including that chicane in the middle...

Something I also learned from Rai.
Pug ugly course, that seems to pass by the local drug rehab centre, judging from the gang of delinquents seen crossing the road.

Paolo Savoldelli thinks it's a technically challenging (mucho cornering) course. A cobbled section, too. If it's slightly wet.........
I thought young Phinney a shoe in, but given his record of falling off, it could all end in tears.

It's the sort of prologue where Savoldelli would really fancy himself to win.

I thought Calimero was a nickname for Rujano?

If so, I'm a bit taller than him.

Jan Barta will be a dark horse!

In the outright or the prologue and why? (don't know him at all)

In a match race Kwiatkowski v Boaro over this route who would start favourite?
