Heli Video of the final 5 kms. Attacks by Swift, Lutsenko, Gilbert and Cort with Gaviria, Sagan and later Bettiol closing mostly all down.
Moscon closed the gap with Alaphilippe?

And Gaviria, why did he all those attacks? He could've won it.
If he did Alaphilippe threw away a gold attacking on cobbles. He could have definitely reached the finish line with Moscon and outsprinted him

Slovakia, baby.

First time this year Sagan did perfect combination of his power and best tacticts to win this race.Today he uses Kwiatkowsky biggest tool:tactits.Happy for Matthews and Gva results I mean Belgium and Aussie team how they *** ups once again.

Explain to me how Sagan used the right tactics, and Matthews didn't? This is what I mean by Sagan fans' hypocrisy. Matthews' best chance was a sprint, that's what he did - like Sagan. GvA tried to follow an attack but couldn't (not to excuse the general belgian tactics).

Under the 2 kilometer-banner, Moscon was together with Alaphilippe while Cort and Gaviria bridged from the peloton, with a few seconds advantage. Cort attacks, but Gaviria does not follow. Crucial mistake in my opinion: either he should have gone all-in on the attack and following Cort, or he shouldn't have attacked at all. But now he was spent for the sprint, no chance at winning.

I don't see how Australia f**ked it up. Bling simply didn't have the legs of Peto and Kristoff

For real, what the f was he thinking? 1) Bettiol was always going to chase when Moscon got caught, 2) he has Uran with him, 3) no one in their right mind is taking Gaviria to the line in a group of 4. Some incredibly dumb tactics on display here.
He never was a great tactician, but at least he shows that he doesn't want to be just a bunch sprinter. But in this case he should have just followed Sagan...

Sagan is much faster than Matthews and was never going to not be in the sprint, so Matthews was never going to win in the sprint.

He's beaten both Sagan and Kristoff in flat sprints in the past. He wasn't favourite but he had a decent chance, especially as it was a hard race.

Maybe he means how Bling tried and failed to go with the attack a bit earlier? I agree that there wasn't too much difference in their tactics.

Can't see anything.
Can't play it, too.
They're apologizing to me, but not much use of it.
It doesn´t work for me either. Shame, i would have loved to see it.

You need a VPN to Belgium :) I have used Hide My IP Opera/Chrome, it's free (for a few days per month)

When? TdS this year perhaps (Sagan)? Otherwise, I don't recall. And that was after a climb which surprisingly sapped the usual sprint out of Sagan's legs.

But I said that Sagan is much faster, and that was proven in the sprint today.

I thought about that but I was able to watch the other videos so I figured it was something else.

Sanremo two years ago, a vuelta stage once, that Tour stage in which orica actually had a plan.It doesn't happen often but occasionally it does. He has beaten Kristoff regularly and Kristoff was centimetres away today, so it wasn't the wrong tactic. Just double standards

Right tactics he waited for sprint and did not attack. That was only his chance to win.

Matthews was faster two or three years ago when Canondalle *** up Sagan speed.Recently Sagan is faster even Matthews time to time beat him

I will say it again - Posted a day ago that the plan was Matthews to follow any attack the last time up Salmon Hill if he had the legs - He tried, he failed, but was smart enough to stop the effort and recover for the final - It probably cost him a little power for the final but itwasn't the difference between victory and third.
