I'm 100 pages or so into the book and two comments:
* I told Frankie that he's pegged at trying epo in 95 not 96. He said could be but he doesn't remember the exact year. He did say when he first tried it, it was try/experiment not a regular user. He never became a regular user either.

Hemassist said:A lot of the Cat 1/2's all had some version of Lance sleeping around a lot. A riding buddy, allegedly (can't confirm the truth), once got a call from his niece that was a student at one of the UofT's. She called and told him that Lance Armstrong spent the night on her couch after going home with her roomate. Also, he supposedly would go out drinking in private rooms with buddys, head back to his limo, and then have his driver go back and ask ladies if they wanted to meet Lance. I always thought the dude was full of shizzle, he never produced any evidence to back this up. But based on his behavior...I'm beginning he might have been right.
"Even Armstrong's cancer doctors piped up. "This guy is so clean-living you wouldn't believe it", Dr Lawrence Einhorn of Indiana University Cancer Center told the Associated Press."

Cancer shield may have originated here, but it has been attributed by Outside to David Walsh in a 11 June 2009 interview with NY Velocity.
The first use I could find in the Clinic was an inferred reference ("...must cause one to wonder whether the true purpose of the LAF is to provide Armstrong with a PR shield...) in a now deleted post by banned poster 'whiteboytrash' that was quoted by Thoughtforfood on 5 June 2009
Cancer Jesus, though, is another story. That has to be a bona fide Clinic original.
Dave.
