Now, you're talking, Juan. Can we have the full low down on what goes on between the scenes at team UAE?

The whole video is gold, also the start of the interview is shown here and you can really see him smiling and into something with the "Good morning!!".

I lost it when he says that the team only gave him a 30 minute notice for the statement (which was agreed beforehand to be released after La Vuelta), Ayuso told them he disagreed with the contents of it and UAE replied to him "well, you should be happy, the first statement we wrote was much much worse" ( :confused_old: face) LOL

Pure gold. I would love to know who said this.

I'm still waiting for someone to say how he's been mistreated.

Sports media/fandom created a public group bullying him, Ayuso responded by exposing them for who they are. In terms of the UAE as a team it's clear they made him a scapegoat for everything and only added fuel to the fire, Ayuso responded by signing for another team on where he will be paid better and will be team GC leader.

All in all 2:0 for Ayuso.

I don't like Ayuso, but that's some shamefull behaviour from UAE.
It is shameful even if I think, before yesterday, Ayuso was trolling his managers by dropping even before the final climb.
UAE management had a very childish behaviour, period. You don't respond to a child (Ayuso is a egocentric child) with child behaviours. They are not showing they are better than that. I already told many times, they are successful thanks to Pogacar, there is no doubt in my head, they are very unprofessional in many areas of cycling.

Meh, he broke/was released from his contract and still won't work for the team while they continue to pay him. They should have just sent him home and released the statement. This can't go on surely - though I'm 100% here for it!
He reached and agreement with the team to terminate his contract. Nothing wrong with that.

They knew he was leaving before bringing him to the Vuelta. They should have made it clear to him what his role was. If the team can't control him, then it's the teams fault.

Watching his interview, it's clear to me that there are other issues with management.

Let me guess and since that day no other rider you cheer for won a race?

I was answering to Peyroteo94 who said who defends Ayuso is a Pog hater. I'm not. I was very happy seeing him win the 2020 TDF. many many riders I cheer for won races since that day. Jorgenson won 2 Paris-Nice, Pog won 2 Flanders, Yates won the Giro, Bernal won the Giro, Townsend won Hamburg, Pidcock won Amstel, Mohoric won Sanremo and Tour stages, Hindley won the Giro, Van Baarle Roubaix, Kwiato Amstel, Thomas won Romandie and Suisse, Porte won Dauphiné etc.
I wished Vingo won the Tour and I hope he does one day. I like Visma since 2024 when they signed Jorgenson and Vingo came back from that huge crash

I said who defends Ayuso, RIGHT NOW, is a Pog hater.
And by defending, I mean people who think Ayuso is right. You don't think that though.
