@iBanesto

Evidence seems to suggest UAE (plus sports media/fandom) is running a smear campaign against him. I don't feel you are a Karen if fighting that. More like a Zoro.
Absolutely ridiculous.
Ayuso has shown many things over last months, immaturity, lack of professionalism and inability to adapt.
Nobody at UAE knew who would crash at the Giro, nobody, absolutely nobody knew what would happen as a result. Nobody knew what Isaac Del Toro would do, including Del Toro himself. Nobody knew that entire world cycling spotlight would suddenly be on Del Toro and that once he started winning in the Giro he would have widespread success. Nobody knew that Spanish, English, Italian cycling press would further expectations for Del Toro's future and take attention away from Ayuso.
Nobody knew, it would appear that everyone else, top to bottom has accepted new possibilities and positions at the team with the obvious ugly public exception of Juan Ayuso who is riding, acting, talking, tweeting like a spoiled child.
Ayuso to compound his terrible decision making somehow asserted that UAE is trying to damage his reputation, as if UAE wrote and spoke content of his media exchanges and UAE told him to sit up, not contribute, be a public non teammate.

UAE has nothing to do with any of that, Ayuso alone is damaging and smearing his reputation. People advising him are idiots, and that's being fair, press and public in general agreement of Ayuso selfishness and Ayuso and his advisors doing nothing to calm, quell the negativity surrounding Juan.

Ayuso was a perfect scapegoat and it suited UAE, sports media and fandom to blow that bubble out of proportion, now Ayuso penetrated it and it's over. It turned out 95% of the air in bubble had nothing to do with Ayuso in the first place. At best one could say he is a bit selfish and that is it, who isn't, the rest was you, now deal with it. Ayuso has better things to do, finishing this race and after to buy a new car and change wardrobe, suitable worries for a normal young man.
This is just factually wrong. There certainly is a bubble around UAE, they are the most winning team currently in cycling. They have the recognized best rider and have an impressive and accomplished second tier within the team, Juan Ayuso being one of many outstanding riders within the team. The only thing that makes Ayuso stand out is his demand, his anger, immaturity at not getting disproportionate attention. He wants to be a brighter star amongst other bright stars. His behavior fits better with Caja Rural..maybe Kern Pharma instead of higher level team that will be the same as UAE to a slightly lesser degree. Maybe
T-Rex Quickstep can rework top to bottom to accommodate him, may Lotto hybrid or IPT, Bahrain, Trek has way too many stars and different objectives to please Premadonna Princess Juan and all his needs.
Someone better quickly tell Jay Vine he should actually be unhappy., he is apparently not getting the message

FYI Ayuso is pulling for Almeida.
Ayuso is acting and talking like a punk every other day, so if he has temporarily seen the light, is having a temporary moment of acting, riding like a pro just give it time.. If you find what Ayuso has done and said at this Vuelta being consistent, considerate and professional we are in complete disagreement. Ayuso should ask a friend or family for a ride home and abandon.. Now, his presence is a distraction and takes away from the race, other teammates and objectives.. Bravo Jay!!

Stage 10 exposed UAE to the fullest, Ayuso pulled, Almeida after on his own, while his teammate winning the stage. UAE never came to this race with the intention to fully support Almeida and they wanted to use Ayuso as a scapegoat for it. It's on them now, Ayuso done.

I respect your opinion, my opinion is Juan Ayuso is a talented, spoiled, crybaby, sore loser. I hope he switches teams and we never hear from him again, gets a job at a car wash or mini golf course in Madrid, working nights and weekends.

He didn't put any like. He put the emoji of hands clapping.
This means what exactly? It could be a slow clap (ironic) or a golf clap (compelled by a sense of etiquette) or earnest applause (in which case he may also leave the team soon?)

What if.. Just a thought, what if part of being a great grand tour rider, gaining respect from fans and teammates is acting and talking like Roglic, Vingegaard or Pogacar as examples.
. Can you imagine any of the 3 giving an immediate press conference to contradict their team boss? I can't imagine that scenario.
So I don't know if maturity and composure are character traits of GT champions but maybe...

I see if Vine is selfish then they are in the true if Ayuso is selfish then he is worst. Even today?
All this is a self inflicted wound. Ayuso after a night's sleep and careful thought (?) Decided to hold an organized interview accusing his team and management of malice. Not an interview where you are tired, sweaty, someone jams a microphone in your face. The things he said were damaging, to him obviously, but to anyone else? Don't know, time will tell. I think you bring up many good points that deserve expansion.. Did Vine, Almeida, Soler do or say anything to distract from the 2 UAE objectives? No. GC stability, Vine with impressive win, maintains specialty jersey , so UAE gets exposure for stage win, a climbers jersey. That's the opposite of selfish or self absorbed.
What did Ayuso do to help himself or the team? I have already repeated my opinion a few different ways. In my opinion Juan Ayuso should go home today, him being at the race, is a net negative for the team and overall objectives. There is no upside for Ayuso to remain.

Let's not forget that UAE, in their persistent mistreatment of Ayuso, they put Vine as his domestique at the stage he won.

Vine would have won three stages, but the team decided Ayuso would win. Strange mistreatment all the time.
