Idk what Armstrong's weight was but I remember him saying that he was doing 500W for 30min on Col de la Madonne pre Tour (I guess any Tour he won).
I seem to remember that Ed Coyle measured it at that value too, at UT, but the Tour value is more impressive as he would have been lighter and more tired.

Speaking about Lance, I’d like to know how he feels about Pogacar. I think him, Hincapie and Bryuneel are either laughing their a…s off or are seething with rage

Honestly, it likely is.

Cycling has anti-doping controls in and out of competition, surprise tests, bio passport, no-needle policy... What other sport has all of this?

It's also a sport the deals with much less money then other top sports, that don't have the same level of scrutiny and control. So if there is more money and less control, why not use PEDs if no one is looking?

I wouldn't say it's the cleanest, I'd just say it's less dirty.
Cycling might be cleaner than weightlifting. And that's about it.

Tbf basically all Olympic sport have in and out of competition testing and surprise tests... and a lot have bio passport now. And the Olympics have been needle free since 2016 and in turn quite a few other federations for Olympic sports have similar policies... though it does vary by nation outside of the Olympics and prep for Olympics.

Heck, back in 2007-2008 I was a junior player on an Olympic programme and I had to give my whereabouts for a 2 hour window once a week for anti-doping, and surprise testing could happen at basically any training session or game.

He claims to like him, but secretly despises him. Anyone who can make Lance look like he pailed in comparison can not receive sincere admiration from the Texan.

u can tell he dont like him at all .

why, because he dared to criticize him for something? should he just be jacking him off like the rest of the cycling media does? i dont understand this new phenomenon where if someone is even the slightest bit critical they are labeled a hater. it's ridiculous. the point of being a journalist (and i'm using this term very loosely here wrt to Lance) is to objectively call it like you see it. wrong or right, he thought Pogacar should tone it down and stop winning so much, for his own good! he never once said Pogacar was selfish or a bad guy for wanting to win. he said what he said as advice to Pogacar, speaking from his own experience of dominating the Tour. i cant believe im defending Lance Armstrong, but i dont think he gives a *** what or how many races Pogacar wins. he knows he'll never win 7 Tours in a row anyway.

Bro, he literally accuse him of doping , like wtf?

no he didn't. and if he did, why can't he express his opinion? it would be quite refreshing to actually hear someone question his ridiculous performances.
If this was one of the few instances when Lance wasn't manipulative I'd agree. But generally when someone is as manipulative as Lance they know what they do but make it seem like they don't. So even if he didn't he did. But I'd not say that was a bad thing. In this regard I am pro Lance lol.

Dont make them question you? Its political game? Pogacar just made the biggest mistake of his life when he attack for isola stage, come on he insinuated a lot between the lines, look at the comments after isola stage

i know nuance is hard but that's not calling him a doper, that's sage advice from someone who was in Pogacar's exact position once. what Lance doesn't realize is that that advice doesn't apply anymore because the cycling press is just "fans with typewriters" more than ever before.

i do agree that Lance is probably the last person i would want to see making doping accusations (unless he actually knew something concrete) but i truly dont think he cares about anyones success anymore. he is riding that same train now with his podcast and his media company.
